Coaching Opportunities across Junior & Senior Wycombe Hockey Club is a medium club containing 350 members from the ages of 5 to 75. We are just off junction 4 of the M40 within 3 miles of Bisham Abbey - the home of England Hockey. The club has been working with the local high school to secure outstanding facilities for our members with the finale of a club house being erected during the summer/autumn of 2026. Now we have the off pitch infrastructure to support players and future growth; we are now seeking to enhance the number of hockey coaches. We are looking for hockey coaches to join our existing coaching set-up across the club. We have sole use of Wycombe High School seven days a week which allows us to offer flexibility to coaches on training nights. We can offer a wide range of opportunities from Mini's, Juniors and Seniors. In reviewing our longer term ambitions there would be an opportunity, if desired, to become the Director of Coaching to shape the future of the club. We pride ourselves on offering a fun and friendly environment to learn and grow, no matter age or ability. Our senior teams play from South Central Premier 2 down to Division 4. With 6 ladies teams, 5 men's teams and multiple junior teams there is an area to suit for an experienced coach to someone wishing to start on their coaching career. We would welcome an informal conversation with applicants about their qualifications, experience, and interests, with the aim of defining a role that best suits their individual needs while supporting the ongoing development of our players and teams. Alternatively, we run a comprehensive summer league where any interested party could come and see us in action. If you are interested in the role or would like further information please contact Karen Mckinnon via email at or by phone on . All coaches would require the appropriate DBS and Safeguarding checks.
