Key Responsibilities & Experience: We are looking for candidates who have the following experience and expertise: 7-10+ years of experience in building architecture or as an Architect Technologist. Proven experience in producing fire strategy drawings for building projects. Solid background in specifying fire stopping and fire rated materials. Experience in detailing facades and ensuring high quality design execution. Ideally, some exposure to façade access and related systems. Experience working on projects in Scotland but also through the whole UK (although not essential). RIBA 1 5 project experience, from concept through to completion. Experience with RIBA 05 inspections, particularly to ensure compliance with architectural briefs, especially regarding fire stopping/fire protection. Experience working on upgrading existing and historic buildings to meet modern fire safety and architectural standards. Your responsibilities include following the Health & Safety procedures we have in place, such as wearing appropriate PPE when attending a site visit, completing the mandatory health & safety training annually, reporting incidents, near misses and RIDDORS, and ensuring you are not taking any unnecessary risks at work.
