Our client is an independent insurance intermediary with over 30 years of experience, and they are now seeking an IT Director to join their Senior Leadership Team based at their offices in the City of London. The IT Director will lead a team of around 20 IT professionals, providing IT services for up to 250 employees distributed across both the head office, regional branches, and field-based staff. As the IT Director, you will be responsible for establishing and leading an in-house IT capability to support the ongoing growth of the business. You will work closely with business departmental heads to design and implement an IT strategy that aligns with key business objectives and supports future growth. You will also oversee the management of IT functions, service delivery, and budgeted spend, ensuring that IT infrastructure and service delivery is fit for purpose and compliant with FCA regulations. Key responsibilities for the IT Director will include leading on the design and implementation of new technologies, working within an Azure and Office 365 environment, as well as IT security, cyber security, ISO 27001, and business continuity planning. You will also be responsible as IT Director for ensuring data security, regulatory compliance, and staff training in relevant areas, making sure the business remains compliant with GDPR and financial / insurance regulations, including KYC / AML, and Consumer Duty. To be successful in this IT Director role, you will need to have previous experience in a similar senior IT management, Head of IT, or IT Director position, ideally within the insurance or financial services sector. You must have strong IT leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a strategic mindset. A background in managing IT budgets, implementing new technologies, and ensuring regulatory compliance is essential in this demanding role, as well as the ability to be the go to person between the business and technology. We are pleased to commence the recruitment process for a Programme Manager to join a specialist insurance sector business based in the City of London. With approximately 400 staff, including affiliates and representatives and their teams located throughout the UK, the growing business is dedicated to enhancing their business operations by improving HR processes. They are currently seeking a Programme Manager to join them on an initial 12-month contract, with an urgent remit to lead post-implementation remediation for their recently integrated HCM system, SAP SuccessFactors. The Programme Manager will join the business as part of a wider CEO-sponsored transformation initiative which spans IT, HR, and Finance functions. The SAP SuccessFactors Programme Manager position will play a critical role in establishing best practices within the business, and improving the end user uptake of the new HCM and related processes. The successful candidate will collaborate with business and technology teams to deliver remediation and change, ensuring the SAP SuccessFactors platform aligns closely with the business needs.
