Senior/Lead Electronic Security Systems Engineer - Up to £42,000 Basic Covering South East / Kent / Surrey / London We're looking for a Senior/Lead Electronic Security Systems Engineer to support servicing, and maintenance across the South East, including Kent, Surrey, and London. You'll work on a variety of commercial and residential sites, delivering high quality security solutions and excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities - Install, commission, and maintain CCTV, access control, and intruder alarm systems - Designing, Installing, Programming and commissioning of CCTV and integrated systems, to include but not limited to Access Control, Intruder and Fire alarms and gate automation - Acting as an escalation point for complex or repeat issues - Advising clients on system performance, improvements and remedial works - Ensuring all works meets British Standards and Health and Safety requirements - Producing clear, accurate service reports and documentation - Providing technical leadership and mentoring junior staff members - Locksmith works or an opportunity to learn this skill - Participate in an on call rota when required Requirements - Proven experience working with electronic security systems - Strong fault finding and problem solving skills - Full UK driving licence - Confident communicator with a customer focused approach This role offers a competitive basic salary up to £40,000, with opportunities for overtime, training, and long term progression.

The purpose of the job is to provide professional engineering expertise and excellent internal and external customer service during the maintenance of variety of CCTV, Intruder, Access Control Systems and other security solutions. Including some installation & commissioning. The main challenges of the job are deadline pressures, demand for thoroughness, customer service skills, route cause analysis on faults to meet the business requirements. Job Responsibilities/Essential Functions Provide technical expertise in fault finding and repairs of varied selection of PC/Network based and analogue security systems with a working knowledge of different high end software packages. Provide technical expertise in fault finding and repair with a variety of CCTV operating systems from small scale CCTV systems to large Multi-site installations with PC Based Digital Recorders. To have an understanding of fibre optic transmission systems, LAN/WAN networks and radio telemetry systems to effectively remedy any faults. Liaise with higher grade engineers where required. Provide emergency solutions when operating out of hours as specified on the departmental rota. Collaborate with all parts of the business to ensure that the agreed scope of works is delivered in line with the customer's expectations. Participate in team meetings and actively contribute towards the business' activities. Strive to maximize personal development and performance and take active part in performance reviews and personal development plans. Maintain up to date technical knowledge through internal and external training provision. Operate according to the requirements of business-specific applications and processes and the broad application environments (e.g. order submission, stock control, timesheet submission, job closing, etc.) Travel between sites during the working day. Skills, Qualifications and Competencies NVQ 3 in Electronic Security or equivalent proven experience Knowledge of Access control / CCTV / Intercom / Intruder systems.
