Job Purpose: Reporting to the Network Connections Manager, this role provides administrative support within the Asset Operations department. To provide essential administrative and coordination support to the Network Connections team, helping to keep information, communication, and workflows organised and running smoothly. The role focuses on maintaining accurate records, supporting communication between internal teams and external stakeholders, and making sure the day-to-day running of the Connections function is efficient and well-coordinated. Main responsibilities will include: Providing day-to-day administrative support to the Network Connections team Maintaining accurate and well-organised records across internal systems and shared folders Supporting the coordination of information between engineers ICPs and connected customers Managing inboxes and responding to general queries, escalating where needed Helping to arrange meetings, site visits, and internal coordination activities Progressing and following up on outstanding information or actions where required to support the team Ensuring documents, drawings, and correspondence are correctly filed and easy to access Supporting reporting activities, including tracking workload, progress updates, and basic SLA monitoring Helping to keep internal processes and templates up to date and consistent Identifying simple improvements that could make admin processes more efficient or easier to follow Knowledge and Skills Requirements Essential: Strong organisational and administrative skills High attention to detail and accuracy Ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both in writing and verbally, with a range of colleagues, customers and stakeholders. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workload Confident using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) and learning new systems Comfortable working as part of a team and supporting others A calm and reliable approach, especially when dealing with busy workloads Willingness to suggest and support improvements that help make processes efficient, accessible, and easy to follow. Desirable: Experience in a utilities, construction, engineering, or similar structured environment Exposure to network connections, ICPs, DNOs, or IDNOs (not essential) Familiarity with document control or shared filing systems Experience in an administrative, coordination, customer service, project support, or support-based role. Job Purpose: This role is responsible for the management of all projects and programmes of LV and 11kV connections constructed and delivered by ICP's managing client liaison throughout the whole lifecycle of a project, from award through to energisation. The role requires strong customer and client management skills to work with the customers (ICPs) to enable a successful completion and handover to the asset management team. To enable effective delivery of this role, understanding and effective utilisation of our internal project management tools () and stage and gate review processes are key. This team are pivotal in supporting the whole organisation understand where projects are in the process and keeping clients updated on next steps required. This role will also be responsible for liaising internally to ensure the stage gates are met and responsible parties have completed their review processes across a wide range of projects. The team collectively undertake a range of project and programme management processes and activities to enable successful completion and handover to the asset management team. Main responsibilities will include: Take ownership and manage delivery for programme of Liaise with clients regularly and provide monthly portfolio reports, project welcome packs and project kick off meetings. Manage the stage and gate process throughout all gates, ensuring all checklists, documentation, evidence and processes are followed for your projects Support the Head of Standard Connection Delivery in the management of the stage owner and gate keeper processes Manage and maintain project information, including forecast dates, programme of works, project briefs etc within internal work management IT system. Support data management for internal and external Review supplier data queries, resolve data conflicts and errors within IT Liaise with and gather information from external field-based operations to ensure systems are updated. Liaise with various departments within the business to ensure smooth, efficient Generate and issue client and customer Knowledge and Skills Requirements Ideally, you will have good knowledge and experience of the utilities industry, competent in delivering successful projects/programmes, pro-actively natured, customer focused, and passionate about the role and business.
