Technician Demonstrator in Programmable and Digital Technologies We are looking for a Technician Demonstrator with expertise and skills in creative applications of programmable technologies to complement our excellent technical provision. The technical team, and the workshops, studios and resources they manage are key to CSAD's student experience. The technical team manages CSAD's technical provision, deploying the School's equipment and space in a system that ensures fairness and enhances safety, whilst promoting creativity, student centred learning and initiative. Responsibilities Supervising creative processes and practices to facilitate student learning. Demonstrating techniques and processes. Coordinating requirements and purchasing materials and equipment. Developing own skills and knowledge to support the student experience. Ensuring safe practice through implementation of the School's Health and Safety policy. You'll lead the way by: Implementing scalable, high quality, secure and high-performance integrations through systems analysis, specifications, designing, programming, configuring, testing, deployment, user training and documentation. Maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of IT developments and software analysis, design and programming tools. What you'll bring: With a good knowledge and practical experience of successful software application development using MS SQL and Microsoft.NET Core (ASP.NET, C#.NET and Restful API) within the Azure platform, you will work as part of an Agile development team, working with a variety of stakeholders from across the University to develop integrations to support the implementation of the new student record system. You will also have excellent interpersonal and well-developed communication skills. Additionally, you'll: Have good knowledge and competency in business analysis and design methodology. Have practical knowledge and hands on experience of developing within the Azure platform, e.g. Azure Functions, Service Bus, Event Grids. Have thorough knowledge of RDBMS e.g. SQL Server, Oracle. Have practical knowledge of web development including, CSS, HTML, HTTPS. Have practical knowledge of secure programming techniques e.g. OWASP, both generally and for the adopted programming languages. New Product Development (NPD) Technologist As our New Product Development (NPD) Technologist, you'll deliver new product development and innovation support to the food and drink manufacturing sector in Wales via Welsh Government funded projects and the wider UK food and drink industry through other projects delivered by ZERO2FIVE Food Industry Centre mechanisms. You'll have the opportunity to transfer knowledge to the ZERO2FIVE technical team, food and drink manufacturers and wider stakeholders. You'll lead the way by: Being responsible for delivering and disseminating applicable New Product Development and best practice knowledge to a wide range of food and drink manufacturing businesses. Identifying key new product development shortfalls in industrial partners' operations through gap analyses and internal audits. Implementing a rigorous and robust project delivery mechanism (from project enquiry to project closure) for all New Product Development projects delivered by ZERO2FIVE. Undertaking organoleptic evaluation, nutritional analysis, shelf life determination and benchmarking of products in accordance with agreed protocols for partner companies and commercial clients.
