THE ROLE Pure Storage is seeking a senior level technical and leadership professional to serve as the GSI Solutions Architect for the EMEA and LATAM regions. This role focuses on managing and partnering with a portfolio of key Global System Integrator (GSI) companies, including HCLTech, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant, and Tech Mahindra, aligning with their global organizations. Recognising the GSI business as a vital growth engine, the Solutions Architect will collaborate closely with the regional Sales organisation to drive field level business success. This position holds the key responsibility for driving Pure Storage revenue within the EMEA and LATAM regions by owning and executing the Go to Market (GTM) solutions strategy. The role is central to enabling regional partners and ensuring the health and growth of Pure's joint business with GSIs. A critical component of this role is setting and driving the technical account strategy in collaboration with sales teams and the respective GSI partners. The ideal candidate for this role must possess a deep understanding of IT industry trends and broad IT industry experience. A key requirement is the ability to align Pure's portfolio with customer needs, based on a solid understanding of their requirements. Furthermore, the successful candidate should have established relationships with executive and technology decision makers within these Global System Integrator (GSI) companies, both globally and across the EMEA and LATAM regions. WHAT YOU WILL DO Strategic Relationship & Business Development: Deeply understand client business fundamentals and industry drivers to create compelling value propositions and supporting business cases directly tied to the end client's business challenges and models. Define comprehensive solutions, encompassing industry/business approach, implementation methods, technology usage, IT/business processes, and influencing commercial/financial models. Clearly articulate the expected business and benefits realisation of the proposed solution and change program. Technical Leadership & Team Enablement: Establish technical credibility/ be the trusted advisor, with existing and prospective partners/clients, enabling the cultivation of relationships and the envisioning of creative sales and solution strategies to drive revenue growth. Act as a trusted and collaborative conduit connecting Sales, Engineering, and Product Management teams. Help guide the sales team to deliver best in class technology solutions in a rapidly evolving, hyper competitive market. Identify critical market trends and accurately map customer needs and challenges to Pure Storage's technology strategy. WHAT YOU BRING Education & Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, coupled with 5+ years of experience in a technical leadership role. Technical Breadth: Demonstrated product experience across multiple technology vendors. Strong technical competence, including a solid working knowledge of storage, compute, database, networking, and virtualization. Experience with emerging technologies like New Stack, AI/ML, and/or Big Data Analytics is highly valued, with community and social media involvement being an advantage. Communication: Exceptional written, diagrammatic, and oral communication skills. Proven ability to simplify complex ideas for both technical and non technical audiences. Strategic & Problem Solving: Ability to balance a big picture strategic view with a detail oriented approach to solving problems. Key Attributes & Drive Proactiveness: An ambitious, entrepreneurial spirit combined with a strong passion for driving impact and change. Leadership & Influence: Strong executive presence and the ability to effectively champion initiatives and motivate diverse stakeholders. Additional Requirements GSI Experience: Prior experience working for or with Indian Global System Integrators (GSIs) is a significant advantage. Travel: Availability to travel domestically and internationally approximately 30% of the time (when it is safe to do so).
