Together we are recruiting a Senior Systems Engineer to join the Engineering Team, based in Market Deeping . We are looking for someone to join this exciting team, working with experienced engineers across multiple disciplines within the Engineering field. The Role: Defining appropriate technologies to apply to solutions and product range Awareness and evaluation of latest and new technology Providing consistency across our portfolio technology roadmap Partnering with Product Development discipline teams Essential technical requirements of candidate: Product Development experience Be an innovative critical thinker with the ability to both work under own initiative and develop others Methodical and developed troubleshooting, communication and planning skills Have a well-developed commercial awareness Able to engage with stakeholders at a high level to understand future needs Desirable technical knowledge and requirements of candidate : Excellent knowledge of communications systems equipment specification, design or test. Understanding of a wide range of network technologies Electronics or RF knowledge Understanding of VHF/UHF communications, Navigation and Surveillance Systems. Previous background in radio communications Experience of configuration management and various lifecycle models Ability to identify and manage risks relating to systems and projects Ability to understand and prepare requirements Ability to set and review architectures What's in it for you?
