IT & Telecoms Field Engineer Dorset, Hampshire, Somerset, Wiltshire (Field-Based) £DOE + Car Allowance 23 days holiday + bank holidays (rising to 25 after 2 years) Looking for a role where no two days are the same? We're on the hunt for a hands-on IT & Telecoms Field Engineer who enjoys variety, problem-solving, and taking ownership of projects from start to finish. What you'll be doing Installing and configuring IT & Telecoms solutions for business customers Onboarding new clients to managed services Providing a mix of remote and on-site support Planning and running installation projects (from survey to sign-off) Advising on solutions and making recommendations Keeping tickets and projects updated in our CRM What we'd love you to bring Solid knowledge of routers, switches & firewalls Experience with IT hardware, cloud, Azure & virtual environments Wi-Fi installation/configuration (Ruckus or Ubiquiti/Unifi is a plus) Cloud telephony design & implementation Good understanding of SIP, broadband & LAN infrastructure A confident, customer-focused approach Full UK driving licence Bonus points if you have Microsoft, CCNA or FortiGate certifications Experience with VMWare / Hyper-V Firewall experience (FortiGate ideal) VOIP & project management know-how Why you'll enjoy this role A mix of hands-on support and full project ownership Competitive salary + car allowance Growing business with long-standing clients Supportive team that values your input and ideas Extra holiday after 2 years' service If you like the idea of working across IT, telecoms, networking and cloud - with the freedom to really own your projects - we'd love to hear from you.
