The work will consist of installation of Fibre, Voice, and Data cabling across various environments, including Commercial, Government, Education, Healthcare, and Listed Buildings. Locations: Edinburgh - City Centre Pay Details: £20.00 per hour (37.5 hours per week) £26.66 per hour Overtime during the week £30.00 per hour Overtime on Saturday Key Responsibilities: Install, terminate, and test Category 6 and Category 6a structured cabling systems (shielded and unshielded) to manufacturer specifications. Test structured cabling systems using Fluke DSX network testers. Install, terminate, and test multimode and single-mode fibre cables, using fusion splicing and Fluke DSX Light Loss Fibre modules. Install and maintain voice cabling systems. Install communications cabinets (wall-mounted, floor-mounted, and flat-pack assemblies). Install various containment systems, including cable tray, basket tray, PVC/metal trunking, PVC conduit, and cable matting. Use Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, Fluke LinkWare & LinkWare Live software. Requirements: NVQ or SVQ in Structured Cabling / Telecommunications. UK Driving licence (preferred) CSCS Grade Card.
