Connect2Hackney is excited to recruit a skilled Business Analyst / Project Manager to join our Housing Transformation team. In this dual-capability role, you will take end-to-end ownership of delivering a robust, automated workflow and system solution to manage Housing Health and Safety Rating System (HHSRS) hazards. Your work will directly ensure full operational readiness and strict compliance with statutory timeframes mandated under Awaab's Law and broader UK social housing regulations. Key Responsibilities Project Management & Governance End-to-End Ownership: Define project scope, schedules, resources, and deliverables aligned with statutory deadlines. Governance & RAID: Maintain RAID logs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) and provide updates to executive sponsors. Vendor Management: Act as the primary liaison between internal IT, software vendors, and external contractors. Business Analysis & Process Mapping Requirements Gathering: Lead workshops across Repairs and Asset Management teams to define triage, hazard logging, and remediation needs. Workflow Optimisation: Document "As-Is" processes and co-design streamlined "To-Be" workflows enforcing strict SLA targets. System Specifications: Translate legal requirements and resident communication rules into technical specs and automated alerts. Implementation, Testing & Integration Oversee data flows between housing systems, contractor software, and compliance tools. Write test scripts and lead UAT with contact center staff, surveyors, and frontline teams. Change Management & Business Readiness SOPs & Dashboards: Create standard operating procedures, escalation paths, and compliance dashboards. Design and run end-user training to ensure smooth operational adoption. Who We Are Looking For Experience & Background Dual BA/PM Expertise: 3+ years operating successfully in a combined BA/PM role on complex software implementations. Housing Sector Focus: Hands-on experience within Social Housing, Local Government, or Property Management. Regulatory Systems: Direct experience implementing compliance tools related to HHSRS, Damp & Mould, or Building Safety. Knowledge & Qualifications Regulatory Expertise: Strong working knowledge of Awaab's Law, the Social Housing (Regulation) Act, and HHSRS hazard classifications. Technical Skills: Proficient in formal process mapping (BPMN), data analysis, and specifying compliance dashboards (e.g., Power BI). Certifications: PRINCE2, AgilePM, APM, or BCS/IIBA Business Analysis qualifications (or equivalent experience). Core Strengths Bridge Builder: Outstanding communication skills to translate needs between IT suppliers, housing operations, and senior leadership. Delivery-Focused: Pragmatic approach to balancing tight regulatory deadlines with ground-level operational realities. The Role As a Digital Analyst (Enterprise Systems), you will play a key role within a multi-disciplinary team, focusing on the maintenance, development, and optimisation of our core enterprise systems, specifically iTrent and Business Objects. This is a fast-paced, 6-month temporary contract where you will support Senior Analysts to ensure system security, streamline HR workflows, and deliver high-quality data analysis. Key Responsibilities Assist with the creation, development, and scheduling of mid-to-high complexity reports via Business Objects. Perform data analysis and reconciliations where required. Support configuration changes, system processes, and upgrades within iTrent. Provide high-quality user support via the Halo CRM software, ensuring system functionality and security are maintained. Collaborate with internal teams and external software vendors to improve processes between HR and other systems, streamlining the overall staff lifecycle workflow. What We Are Looking For To be successful in this role, you must bring hands-on technical expertise and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Essential Criteria: iTrent Expertise: Proven experience supporting, configuring, and developing iTrent software. Strong experience creating Business Objects reports to a mid-to-high level of complexity. Mid-to-high level proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets to perform detailed analysis and reconciliations. Experience working within multi-disciplinary teams and liaising with external vendors and internal stakeholders alike.
