Lead Maintenance Engineer Slough 60,000 - 65,000 + Bonus + Pension + Overtime + Call-Out Allowance Days Only Monday to Friday Lead Maintenance Engineer Automation Engineer Electrical Maintenance Engineer FMCG Manufacturing An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Lead Maintenance Engineer to join a highly automated manufacturing facility in Slough. This role would suit a Lead Engineer, Senior Maintenance Engineer, Electrical Maintenance Engineer, Multi-Skilled Engineer, Automation Engineer, Controls Engineer, PLC Engineer or Reliability Engineer looking to join a business that is investing heavily in its people, equipment and automation capabilities. Working within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, you will take a leading role in maintaining and improving production equipment, supporting automation systems, driving reliability improvements and delivering engineering projects across the site. Key Responsibilities Lead maintenance activities across a highly automated manufacturing facility Fault-find and repair PLC-controlled production equipment Support and improve automation, controls and electrical systems Carry out planned and reactive maintenance activities Drive continuous improvement and reliability initiatives Improve machine uptime, efficiency and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) Support engineering projects, equipment upgrades and new installations Manage PLC backups and control system documentation Provide technical support and guidance to the engineering team Participate in the engineering call-out rota Skills & Experience Experience as a Lead Maintenance Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, Automation Engineer or Electrical Engineer Strong electrical fault-finding skills PLC fault-finding experience within manufacturing or production environments Experience working on automated machinery and production lines Knowledge of continuous improvement and reliability techniques Excellent problem-solving and communication skills Ability to work independently and lead engineering initiatives Desirable Siemens PLCs TIA Portal SCADA Systems FMCG Manufacturing Food Manufacturing Packaging Automated Production Facilities Project Engineering or Commissioning Experience Package 60,000 - 65,000 Basic Salary Annual Bonus Pension Scheme Overtime Available Call-Out Allowance Ongoing Training & Development Career Progression Opportunities Exposure to Major Automation & Capital Investment Projects Please apply below.
