Senior Cobol Programmer - up to £60,000 - London plus Hybrid working
A large-scale organisation in London is urgently seeking a new Senior Cobol Programmer with experience of VMX/ VAX Operating Systems to join their team. As the successful candidate you must have:
10 years of experience in COBOL programming and VAXVMS development
Strong COBOL programming skills
Extensive experience with VAX/VMS operating system
Troubleshoot and resolve issues with COBOL applications and VAX/VMS systems
Provide technical support to end users
Develop maintain and enhance COBOL programs and applications running on
VAX/VMS
Write test and debug COBOL code according to specifications
Familiar with VAX COBOL compiler and related utilities
Experience with VAXVMS file systems and database management
Experience with ICMS tool and with RDB Relational Database
Preferred Skills
Experience with specific VAXVMS applications or industries
Experience with other legacy technologies
