You will be responsible to produce flood risk assessment work and drainage strategies in support of planning applications. producing and issuing of drawings, specifications, reports, and calculations. What you need to succeed HNC or BEng Civil Engineering and at least 3 years relevant post degree graduate experience. Experience working on private sector development from a multi-disciplinary or consultancy background. Demonstrate successful project management and effective organisational and communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively and independently. An ability to be proactive, strategic, and analytical in your approach to support our client s requirements. People focused approach with an ability to bring forward new ideas into practice. Working towards Chartered or Incorporated status with a relevant professional body (e.g. ICE, CIHT, CIWEM) preferred. Knowledge and proven experience of applying principles, design codes and standards set out in the SuDS Manual, Sewers for Adoption, and other relevant best practice, design and regulatory standards. Demonstrate experience and knowledge in software packages such as Microdrainage software and AutoCAD Demonstrate working knowledge of the legal, planning, and technical consent, adoption and contract procedures for the design and implementation of sewers, SUDS, in new developments and regeneration projects including S104.

We are seeking an enthusiastic Senior / Principal Engineer to support our clients regional Development Team in Cardiff, focusing on civil engineering for development infrastructure. You will work within a team to lead and produce designs and drawings for construction projects and deliver technical reports for masterplanning and in support of planning applications. You can expect to be active on several projects and client accounts at any given time. Strong post graduate experience in a civil engineering working environment The ability to produce masterplans, site appraisals, write reports to support planning applications, design calculations and construction drawings A solid engineering foundation and an understanding of highway design and highway drainage principles (layout, etc.)
