Business Analyst - Adult Social Care Location: Slough (Hybrid Working) Rate: 485.85 per day (Umbrella) Contract: Interim / Contract Role We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support a range of high-profile Adult Social Care transformation projects within a forward-thinking local authority environment. Working closely with the Adults Project Manager , you will play a key role in driving meaningful change across services, including the redesign of the Adults "Front Door" -a critical access point for residents. Key Responsibilities Lead and facilitate stakeholder workshops across Adult Social Care services Capture and document as-is customer journeys and experiences Design and map "to-be" pathways to support service transformation Work collaboratively with a broad range of services, including: Learning Disabilities Mental Health Reablement Safeguarding 65+ Services Engage and influence senior stakeholders and multidisciplinary professionals Translate complex requirements into clear, actionable deliverables Requirements Proven experience working as a Business Analyst within Adult Social Care Strong background in service transformation and redesign Demonstrable experience facilitating workshops and leading stakeholder engagement Expertise in process mapping, customer journey mapping, and business analysis methodologies Ability to lead discussions and drive consensus across diverse professional groups Excellent communication and documentation skills Working Arrangements Hybrid model: 2 days onsite in Slough, 3 days remote Competitive day rate of 485.85 (Umbrella) This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to impactful transformation work that directly improves outcomes for vulnerable adults and communities. This is a vital role focused on ensuring high-quality performance information is collected and analysed to support business improvements. This is about building the data sets / reports and organising the data in spreadsheets The Role Working within the Performance and Insights Team, you will collect and collate performance information from across the business to produce regular KPI reporting. Data Collection & Management: Collect performance information from diverse teams, maintaining accurate records. Performance Reporting: Collate information to produce KPI reports, primarily using Excel and PowerPoint. Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with staff across the business to gather commentary on performance metrics, action plans, and documentation. Senior Cyber Security Engineer (Contract) Location: East London (Local Council) Rate: 500 per day (Umbrella) Duration: 6 months Working Pattern: Hybrid - 1-3 days per week onsite (depending on project needs) The Opportunity We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cyber Security Engineer to support a Local Council in East London. This role is critical in maximising the value of a newly established outsourced Security Operations Centre (SOC) partnership, ensuring effective integration, optimisation, and knowledge transfer across the internal team. Following a recent team departure, this position will provide senior-level technical leadership to enhance security operations, strengthen internal capability, and drive forward cyber resilience. Key Responsibilities Lead deployment, configuration, and optimisation of endpoint protection using CrowdStrike Falcon Collaborate with SOC partner to design and enhance Splunk dashboards, alerts, and data models Act as escalation point for high-severity incidents, driving rapid detection and response Develop SOAR workflows to automate and streamline security operations Conduct proactive threat hunting to identify hidden risks Upskill internal teams in CrowdStrike, Splunk, and security analysis best practices Required Experience 5+ years in Cyber Security Engineering or SOC (Tier 3) roles Strong hands-on expertise with CrowdStrike (Falcon Prevent, Insight, Discover) Advanced Splunk skills, including SPL and Enterprise Security (ES) Solid understanding of networking, cloud security (AWS/Azure), and MITRE ATT&CK Experience in vulnerability assessment (desirable) Exposure to penetration testing and web application security (desirable) Qualifications Cyber security certifications (e.g. Security+, CySA+, CISSP, GCIH, CCSP) CrowdStrike certifications (e.g. CCFA, CCFR, CCSE) - preferred Splunk Certified Cybersecurity Defense Engineer - required Eden Brown is committed to equality in the workplace and is an equal opportunity employer.
