We are seeking a qualified Quantity Surveyor / Project Manager to join a growing, family-run construction business in Bromley, London. This combined role offers a unique opportunity to contribute at every stage of our construction projects, from cost estimation to financial management. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience independently estimating various residential projects ranging from £500k to £ 2.5 M. Responsibilities Key Responsibilities: - Developing detailed cost estimates for a variety of construction projects - Working closely with project teams to gather necessary project information - Preparing and submitting tender proposals with accuracy and efficiency - Managing project budgets, cost control, and financial oversight & monthly valuations - Conducting surveys, cost analyses, and ongoing financial reviews - Engaging with subcontractors and suppliers to secure competitive quotes - Ensuring compliance with industry standards, best practices, and regulations Requirements: - Proven 3-5 years’ experience as an Estimator and/or Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry - Strong analytical and mathematical skills - Excellent communication and negotiation abilities - Proficiency in relevant software (e.g., Excel), - Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations. - Knowledge of take-off software such as Blue Beam-REVU or similar is essential.   As a family-run contractor, we prioritise a supportive and collaborative work environment.
