You'll be joining our Network Team within Infrastructure Services, a small but highly skilled group of four engineers who play a critical role in keeping Bauer's networks running smoothly and evolving for the future. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Leading delivery of network projects (e.g. switch refreshes, firewall deployments, cloud connectivity) Monitoring, diagnosing, and resolving complex network issues Acting as an escalation point for network related incidents and queries Driving performance optimisation and identifying system improvements Providing technical leadership, including peer reviews and mentoring Supporting change and continuous improvement across network operations Producing clear documentation for internal teams and stakeholders Collaborating with internal teams, vendors, and service providers The Skills you will bring Strong experience as a Network Engineer in a complex, multi-site environment Deep expertise in Cisco technologies (routers, switches, firewalls) Hands on experience with Palo Alto firewalls (configuration and deployment) Advanced routing knowledge (EIGRP preferred, plus OSPF/BGP) Experience working in high availability, resilient environments Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills Experience leading projects and driving technical delivery Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Experience mentoring or supporting junior engineers Exposure to wireless (e.g. Meraki), WAN technologies, and VPN solutions Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g. SolarWinds, Zabbix) Experience in media or similar fast paced industries About Bauer Media Group We are a media business focused on creating content that matters to millions of people across Europe.
