About The Role This is a fixed term contract, starting from Mid March 2026 until 8th November 2026. You will be given a minimum of 5 hours per week, however as per your availability, we can offer part time, full time and/or weekend work. Shifts will be available across the following hours: 08 00, 08 30, 08 30, 15 00 and 20 00. You will be part of the team that plays a pivotal role in ensuring guests safety and enjoyment for millions of guests across Chessington World of Adventures Resort. The day to day duties include patrolling the Resort as part of a response team, interacting with guests, checking bags and personal searches, performing back of house patrols, incident and crowd management, asset transfers, and being part of an amazing team. This role is great for aspiring police officers or those looking for a career in law enforcement. The Security team at Chessington World of Adventures works closely with local authorities to carry out various operations while keeping everyone's safety at the forefront of our business. This can be a fast paced and active role which also means working outside on the Island like no other. Main Responsibilities Provide a high level of customer service to our guests, in line with company values ensuring that our targets are being met. This requires professionalism during every aspect of the role. Practice conflict management successfully across the Resort, resolving issues whilst ensuring the safety of all guests, staff and protection of all of the Resorts assets. Carry out bag checks, personal searches, patrols and maintain vigilance at all times. Guest interaction is very important and world class customer service is expected as per training. Interact with guests and ensure any issues are resolved to the best of your ability. Patrol the Resort being vigilant for any threats to the safety of the Resort. We Are Looking For Excellent customer service skills to communicate in an effective and positive manner with all customers and colleagues. Must have an active and in date SIA license (Door supervisor level). High level of motivation both individually and in a team. Proficient in English language. Team player with the ability to work independently. Lead and uphold required standards in moments of conflict or violence and deliver good results. Interpersonal and relationship building skills within the team and networking with other employees at the resort. Good interpersonal skills with the ability to talk to all types of guests.
