As a Group Architectural Technician, you will assist in the design and technical delivery of high-quality architectural solutions. Reporting to the Group Architectural Manager, you will be responsible for producing detailed technical drawings, ensuring compliance with regulations and NHBC standards, and supporting the coordination of design information. You will work closely with internal teams and external consultants to ensure accurate and efficient project execution. Responsibilities Produce detailed construction drawings, and technical documentation all standard house types. Ensure all drawings comply with building regulations, NHBC standards, and company requirements. Work with structural engineers, suppliers, and regional technical teams to ensure design coordination. Support the Group Architectural Manager in implementing quality control processes. Qualifications Knowledge of building systems, construction processes, building regulations, and NHBC standards. Experience in reviewing and coordinating external consultants' and suppliers' information. Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with technical teams and stakeholders. Proficiency in Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD. As Assistant Engineer, you will support the wider Technical team with the acquisition, planning, design, management and adoption of Miller Homes build projects RESPONSIBILITIES Assisting the team with the procurement of new development sites. The work will mainly consist of liaison with utility companies over new supplies and diversions but will also include working with drainage authorities, highway authorities and specialist consultants. Assisting in overseeing the design and detailing carried out by externally appointed Consulting Engineer's responsible for providing designs for new estate roads and sewers and also the designs for foundations and where necessary have input into securing structural designs for superstructure components Help procure service quotes for new developments and liaise with the Commercial Department to place orders with the preferred contractor Liaise with Technical Team, including Technical Coordinators and others as necessary to seek the discharge of building regulations and planning conditions. REQUIREMENTS A relevant industry qualification (or working towards) To have worked as an engineer for a house-builder, or the wider construction industry Ability to plan, organise and monitor. The ERP Functional Analyst will work within the Group IT division to provide services and support to our regional businesses across the UK. The role primarily involves working on JD Edwards projects within the Analytics & Business Applications (ABA) team within to deliver quality systems and solutions to our internal customers. RESPONSIBILITIES: Working closely with various departmental functions within the Company to improve all aspects of Sales, Commercial and/ or Finance related systems and solutions in line with changing business requirements.
