TNEI Services Ltd in Manchester is seeking an experienced IT Business Analyst to lead a critical systems transformation. You will own the replacement of an in house CRM/HRMS/Project Accounting system with a scalable solution aligned to our growth strategy. This role bridges business needs with technical design across multiple initiatives. The candidate will work on HRMS implementation, accounting upgrades, and integration between CRM, HRMS, Project Management and Finance systems.

Overview STATUS: 37.5 hours per week, Fixed Term Contract (9 months) SALARY: Competitive and based on experience and qualifications. LOCATION: Manchester / Hybrid. The candidate may be required to travel between TNEI offices. We are seeking an experienced IT Business Analyst to lead a critical business systems transformation programme. The successful candidate will take ownership of replacing our in-house developed application (currently serving as a CRM, HRMS, and Project Accounting system) with a scalable, best-in-class solution aligned to our growth strategy. The candidate will work across multiple initiatives, including an ongoing HRMS implementation and the planned upgrade of our accounting system. A key focus will be ensuring seamless integration between systems and alignment with business processes. This is a high impact role requiring strong stakeholder engagement, end to end project ownership, and the ability to bridge business needs with technical solutions. Duties and Responsibilities Lead end to end business analysis from discovery and requirements gathering through to implementation and go live. Engage with stakeholders across Finance, HR, Operations, and Marketing to document and validate functional and non functional requirements. Analyse current systems and processes (AS IS), identify gaps and inefficiencies, and define future state (TO BE) workflows and solution requirements. Support system selection and vendor management, ensuring clear translation of business needs into deliverables and alignment across CRM, HRMS, Project Management and Finance systems. Oversee integration design, data migration, training, testing (including UAT), and implementation activities to ensure a smooth, coordinated deployment. Requirements Proven experience as an IT Business Analyst delivering complex systems implementations. Strong experience with enterprise systems such as CRM, HRMS, and Finance/Accounting platforms. Experience working on system integration projects (APIs, data flows, middleware, etc.). Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. Strong analytical and problem solving abilities. Experience working across the full project lifecycle (requirements through to go live). Ability to manage multiple workstreams and priorities. Experience in professional services, energy, and/or consultancy environments. Familiarity with project accounting and resource management systems. Experience supporting CRM, HRMS and/or Finance system implementations. Knowledge of integration tools or platforms (e.g. middleware solutions). KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Architect and develop high-performance C++ modules for power system simulation. Own and enhance large codebases with strong focus on performance, memory efficiency, and modular design. Lead reviews, testing, debugging, and enforce engineering best practices. Mentor junior engineers and drive fast paced product development and prototyping. Contribute to technical roadmap and evaluate emerging technologies. REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's/Master's/PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field. 6+ years of strong C++ (14/17/20) development experience. Deep understanding of advanced C++, Python, OOP, algorithms, and system architecture. Experience and understanding of Power Systems concepts Highly desired Experience with numerical libraries, solvers, or scientific computing. Qt GUI or backend visualization frameworks. Exposure to simulation or co simulation environments.
