Role Overview - IT Sensors & Antennas Engineer This role is ideal for a talented and ambitious professional IT Sensors & Antennas Engineer. The role of IT Sensors & Antennas Engineer entails being responsible for the upgrade, installation, configuration and commissioning of Radars, Sensors, Antennas, VHF/RF systems on our towers that make up our maritime surveillance systems. Along with their ongoing maintenanceand issue trouble shooting and resolution. Responsibilities - IT Sensors & Antennas Engineer Configuration and deployment of Radars, Sensors, Antennas, VHF/RF systems and other IT system support infrastructure Check and validate installations, and provide reports Configuration and troubleshooting of different types of the systems Monitor system performance, undertake trouble shooting and resolution and implementation of upgrading and replacements Support and train customer in-country partners to enable them to take operational ownership and responsibility of the systems we have supplied - day to day maintenance, issue identification and resolution Maintain good document trails of system changes and updates Requirements - IT Sensors & Antennas Engineer ESSENTIAL - Strong experience of either Radars, Sensors, Antennas, VHF/RF systems, whether obtained in the Telecommunications, military or similar sector Experience with tower climbing supporting the build of 4G or 5G communications networks Strong understanding of IT security and data protection best practices Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent teamwork and communication abilities A qualification in Tower Climbing / Working at Height would be beneficial, but we will provide certified training for this if you do not hold a qualification - but you must "have a head for heights" Benefits - IT Sensors & Antennas Engineer Competitive Salary Long Term Career Development Opportunities Excellent Benefits Package and Private Healthcare

We re seeking an experienced and versatile Systems Engineer to join our Edge Team a rare opportunity to help define and deliver our cutting-edge Maritime Surveillance and Fisheries Monitoring solutions, working at the intersection of hardware, software, and advanced sensor technologies. About the Role In the Edge Team, you ll work on the sensors at the fringe fixed and mobile surveillance equipment such as radars, cameras, RDF, AIS, and other specialist maritime sensors. Your mission will be to integrate, calibrate, and optimise these systems in non-production environments, building the software that makes their outputs usable for downstream systems and training our Delivery Team for field deployment. The role spans multi-domain sensor fusion, AI-assisted analysis, anomaly detection, augmented reality, autonomous sentry operation, and evidence collection. You ll work closely with colleagues across software, hardware, data science, and infrastructure to bring innovative, high-performance edge solutions to life. What You ll Be Doing Design, develop, and maintain edge-sensor solutions focusing on performance, reliability, and scalability. Build test infrastructure to capture and analyse quality and performance metrics. Work across the stack UI, backend, robotics, device integrations, networking learning new technologies as needed. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan, build, and test complex functionality. Diagnose and resolve technical issues through root cause analysis. Automate SDLC processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort. Produce and maintain technical documentation. Mentor peers, contribute to code reviews, and promote collaborative working practices. What You ll Bring Strong engineering mindset with experience in one or more of: Microsoft .Net, GoLang, Python, C++, Rust. Broad exposure to remote sensing disciplines, including: Mathematics, physics, and geospatial mapping. Working with sensor hardware and electronics. Networking principles, protocols, and services. Application development across embedded, desktop, and web platforms. Video and radar signal processing (e.g., OpenCV). AI-based, hardware-accelerated image processing (e.g., YOLO).
