Job Description The Role We are seeking an experienced SAP Logistics Solution Architect / Lead Consultant to take ownership of one of Talan UKI's most strategically important accounts. This role serves as the SAP solution architect, lead functional expert, and primary point of contact for the client's SAP landscape. Responsibilities Act as the primary SAP expert and trusted advisor for major clients, particularly within the retail sector. Manage day to day incoming requests, triage complex issues, and determine optimal resource allocation. Maintain regular engagement with multiple client stakeholders. Oversee the pipeline of work, tracking utilisation and upcoming needs. Solution Architecture & Functional Ownership Lead solution assessments, requirement gathering, and end to end functional design. Prepare statements of work and ensure specifications are clear before assignment. Provide expert guidance across SAP logistics modules and resolve complex functional challenges. Team Leadership & Delivery Management Manage and mentor functional consultants. Ensure quality assurance across configuration, development, and testing tasks. Support capability-building within the team for post go live sustainability. Significant experience in IS Retail and Manufacturing industries. Experience in complex multi site SAP environments. SAP 4/HANA SAP certification Experience in large programme delivery and solution architecture.
