The Sustainability Manager plays a key role in delivering sustainable outcomes on Multiplex projects, working closely with project teams to achieve environmental and sustainability objectives, including carbon reduction, resource efficiency, waste management and environmental compliance. As a key member of the Sustainability team, the Sustainability Manager will drive the successful delivery of project sustainability objectives from design through to construction and completion. The role helps embed sustainability into design, procurement and construction activities, supports the achievement of recognised certifications such as BREEAM, WELL, LEED and NABERS, and collaborates with clients, consultants, subcontractors and regulatory bodies to meet project and contractual requirements. We are seeking a sustainability professional with experience in the UK construction industry and a strong understanding of environmental and sustainability requirements, including ISO 14001 and relevant UK legislation. The successful candidate will have experience supporting the delivery of BREEAM certification requirements, with exposure to WELL certification considered advantageous. Strong communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills are essential, along with the ability to collaborate effectively with project teams and external stakeholders to achieve sustainability outcomes.
