Roles and responsibilities: Measurement, analysis and reporting of vehicle, system and component modal performance status to meet key gateway requirements. Responsible for lab-based transfer function measurement to support NVH attribute needs and NVH issue investigation, i.e. Transfer Path Analysis to support road, powertrain and simulator Teams. Undertake detailed correlation work in collaboration with CAE Teams both Internal and External to improve future models and simulations. Maintain the Gaydon Modal Lab Workspace and ensure it is fit for use and calibration compliant. Support taskforce activities to solve complex engineering problems as required. Maintain up-to-date method statements and processes for modal and systems testing. Skills Required: Experience within a modal testing environment and setup and use of impact hammer testing and shaker equipment. Good understanding of NVH signal processing and analysis, especially modal, structural and transfer function analysis. A methodical and detailed approach to planning, recording and executing high quality testing, and reporting. Ability to effectively present and communicate complex NVH data. Capable of working closely and collaboratively within a small team, inc. some coaching of apprentice colleague. Ability to identify and propose continuous improvements and new methods of work. Practical capability to carry out the basic fitting tasks necessary to set up and instrument tests, including ability to design new fixtures/rigs which can then be fabricated by the workshop teams. Role Overview: As a Retouch Artist, you will refine and enhance 3D CGI imagery and photographic assets, ensuring every pixel reflects our client s design excellence. You will bridge the gap between CGI and Photography, working closely with CGI Artists and Art directors to deliver breathtaking visuals for global campaigns, digital channels, and product launches. Key Responsibilities: Refine 3D renders with colour correction, compositing, special effects. Convert 32-bit render outputs to 16-bit and 8-bit deliverables without quality loss. Seamlessly integrate CGI cars into photographic backgrounds and vice versa using photo-bashing and photographic lighting techniques. Perform photography clean-up: dust busting, skin and surface retouch, lens correction. Organise and maintain digital assets, ensuring version control and easy retrieval. Collaborate with Art Directors to interpret briefs and uphold brand guidelines. Mentor Junior Retouchers, sharing best practices in CGI post-production and retouching. Duties: This role is to lead the diagnosis of software and systems issues in the development phase of an Automotive Vehicle Platform. The successful candidate will be part of the Central Systems Integration Team. CSI have the key responsibility of planning and co-ordinating delivery of software from multiple ECU's which when combined deliver the features and systems of the vehicle under development. This particular role within CSI will focus on issues resolution, specifically understanding root cause and assisting with resolution of systems and software issues within the vehicle. They will engage directly with complex issues to aid with data gathering, defining the problem, analysing the data with the intent to understand which team within our client owns the resolution of the problems. Role Activities: Determine the level of urgency required during the first stages of investigations for an issue.
