My client are a well-known Fire and Security company who design and install a comprehensive range of security systems for both commercial and industrial applications. Services, Fire Alarms, Access control, CCTV systems, door entry systems, intruder alarms, perimeter security systems, security risk management, remote monitoring, testing and maintenance, and fire detection services. About the Role As a Fire & Security Engineer working as part of the PPM team, you will support the successful delivery of fire and security maintenance and reactive maintenance. You will be responsible for achieving your service schedules to the levels expected by the company and communicating with line managers and other stakeholders. Sites maintained would be predominantly public sector buildings, such as schools, colleges, libraries, etc. However, the area of operation would also cover private education and healthcare sites Key Responsibilities: Fire And Security Engineer An all-round and competent engineer with good knowledge of both Fire and security systems. Primarily undertaking Fire Alarm and Intruder Alarm PPM visits. Providing, when required, attendance to undertake reactive call outs for both fire, intruder and security systems. Essential Requirements Able to work effectively using own initiative Good written and verbal communication. High attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines. Customer-focused with a professional and responsive attitude. Problem-solving approach and a proactive mindset. Senior Fire & Security Engineer Oxfordshire Competitve salary plus bonus incentives and company vehicle About the Role:Senior Fire & Security Engineer A senior, customer-facing engineering role for someone with strong technical knowledge and experience across a broad range of fire and security systems. Experience across CCTV, access control, Intruder alarms and Intercoms would be highly desirable. Acting as a senior point of contact for customers and supporting other engineers within the team. Key Responsibilities: Senior Fire & Security Engineer Install, commission, maintain and fault-find a wide range of fire and security systems. Work across intruder alarms, fire alarms, emergency lighting, CCTV, access control & intercoms, Diagnose and resolve complex technical faults efficiently and professionally. Essential Requirements Strong and demonstratable experience within the Fire & Security industry. Strong practical experience in the installation, servicing and fault-finding of fire and security systems. Ability to diagnose complex technical faults and find effective solutions. Experience mentoring, supporting or supervising less experienced engineers.
