We are looking for a Senior Portfolio Analyst who shall play a critical role in driving strategic alignment, performance visibility, and operational excellence across the Technology portfolio. Operating within a lean governance framework, this role collaborates closely with Product, Engineering, and Data leadership to translate strategic objectives into measurable outcomes-ensuring the portfolio delivers maximum value in line with company OKRs. Key Responsibilities Strategic Alignment Partner with Product and Data leaders to manage Technology backlogs, ensuring initiatives are well-defined, strategically aligned, and prioritised according to business value and OKR impact. Collaborate with the Portfolio Manager and Data team to provide transparent insights into portfolio performance and progress against strategic goals. Support quarterly and annual planning cycles, ensuring initiatives are reviewed, prioritised, and aligned with business strategy and company OKRs. Assist in administering the central Change Board, evaluating and prioritising new requests to ensure alignment with strategic objectives. Governance Maintain dashboards, reports, and insights to track progress against OKRs, key metrics, and overall portfolio health. Facilitate impact assessments for new demand, validating business benefits, dependencies, and resource implications. Support financial oversight, risk and issue management, and the definition of portfolio KPIs and performance indicators. Stakeholder Management & Communication Promote transparency through clear, data-driven communication of portfolio performance to stakeholders. Build trusted relationships across teams to facilitate effective decision-making and alignment. Skills & Experience Proven experience translating strategic goals and OKRs into measurable portfolio outcomes and performance metrics. Experience supporting quarterly and annual planning cycles, prioritisation processes, and governance within a technology or product environment. experience of project or portfolio support role, including financial management responsibilities. experience of using project/portfolio management tools such as Asana or Jira. Excellent interpersonal skills, including: Strong written and verbal communication abilities A proactive, organised, and detail-oriented approach with sound judgement and credibility Strong influencing and stakeholder management skills (including negotiation and assertiveness). Ability to interpret data, identify risks or opportunities, and present insights to support informed decision-making. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently. Proficiency in Asana. Strong data literacy-comfortable working with KPIs, OKRs, financial data, and delivery metrics. Excellent planning and multitasking abilities. Strong knowledge of Google Workspace and Miro. Our client, a leading energy provider committed to delivering innovative and sustainable solutions, is looking for a PMO Analyst to support the Tech Portfolio Manager. The role focuses on providing clear information and insights across a diverse portfolio of initiatives. You'll work within a lean portfolio framework, ensuring projects align with key business objectives while supporting ongoing demand management and review processes. The PMO Analyst will play a key role in spotting potential risks, clarifying critical issues, and contributing to the design of effective solutions. This is an initial three-month contract with the potential for extension. The role is full-time (37 hours per week) and follows a hybrid working pattern, with one to two days per week required onsite for collaboration. Accountabilities: Review operational processes and collaborate with developers to ensure products align with strategic objectives. Record and document minutes during strategy meetings with accuracy. Identify, evaluate, and communicate risks and issues, ensuring proper tracking and resolution. Maintain RAID logs and manage workflow tasks in Asana. Monitor and follow up on outstanding actions to drive effective resolutions. Contribute to risk management, including mitigation planning and tracking. Perform data analysis to assess risks and their potential impact. Support management of Tech and Data backlogs, ensuring clarity for prioritisation and alignment with company strategy. Knowledge and Skills: Meticulous attention to detail paired with a strong problem-solving mindset. Skilled in managing and engaging stakeholders across mid to senior levels. Demonstrated expertise in data analysis and interpretation. Proficient with project management platforms including Asana, Trello, and Jira. Experienced in leveraging data analysis tools to drive insights. Highly accurate and detail-oriented in all deliverables. Strategic and proactive thinker with a focus on delivering outcomes. Capable of performing effectively under pressure while meeting tight deadlines. Extensive background in project and portfolio support, including financial management. Proven experience in IT governance and planning roles. Strong written and verbal communicator, able to convey complex ideas clearly. Consultancy-oriented skill set, including workshop facilitation, presentations, and creative problem solving. Influential collaborator with strong stakeholder management, negotiation, and assertiveness skills. Adept at analyzing data to identify risks, issues, and opportunities, and presenting findings to enable effective decision-making.
