Our client is looking for an experienced DV cleared Infrastructure Engineer for the deployment and operation of a high-assurance VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) 9.x private cloud, building upon their existing private cloud patterns. You will be a VMware specialist with experience covering: VCF 9.x Orchestration: Lead the end-to-end deployment of Management and Workload Domains using SDDC Manager, VCF Operations and VCF Installer (Cloud Builder). NSX Networking & Security: Design and implement complex virtual networking topologies, including Tier-0/Tier-1 gateways, load balancing, and Distributed Firewall (DFW) micro-segmentation policies. VCF Operations (previously Aria Suite) Management: Configure and tune the VCF Operations Suite for proactive operations, log insights, and automation (eg Aria Automation/Orchestrator). Storage Integration: Partner with the team to map NetApp ONTAP storage ensuring performance and path redundancy. Lifecycle Management (LCM): Own the patching and upgrade cycles for the entire stack (ESXi, vCenter, NSX, Aria) using VCF's integrated LCM workflows to ensure "Continuous Compliance." You will need e xperience operating in UK High-Security environments (MOD, Gov, or National Infrastructure) and any certifications such as V CP-VMC (VMware Certified Professional - VMware Cloud) or V CIX-NV (VMware Certified Implementation Expert - Network Virtualization) would be a distinct advantage. You will need to be onsite 5 days a week and the role will be outside IR35 with travel expenses covered.

We are looking for a QA Test Infrastructure Engineer to work with one of our clients in the defence sector. You'll work alongside engineers, architects, and delivery specialists to develop technology that enables faster, safer decision-making for critical operations. You work will consist of: ensuring quality of products as they move from POC to production, analysing infrastructure requirements and architectures, creating infrastructure-focussed strategies and designing and executing tests across physical infrastructure and IaC. We are looking for someone with skills and experience in: Infrastructure, Networking & Operating Systems Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, switching, Firewalls, VLANs, and related network behaviours. Experience with physical infrastructure setup and troubleshooting (Routers, Switches, cabling). Proficiency with Linux/Unix command line for diagnostics, configuration, and validation. Experience working across virtualisation platforms (VMware, VirtualBox) and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP). Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Terraform: writing/validating HCL, managing state, using modules. Ansible: building playbooks/roles, inventories, and validating idempotency. Kubernetes: deploying workloads, validating manifests, managing clusters, and testing containerised applications. CI/CD & Automation Familiarity with CI/CD tooling (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions). Experience integrating IaC validation and environment checks into automated pipelines. Understanding of pipeline gating, automated readiness checks, and environment orchestration. Security & Compliance Strong grounding in Secure-by-Design principles, IAM, least privilege, OS hardening, network segmentation, and observability. Experience within regulated or highly governed environments (eg, MOD or similar). Ability to support compliance, assurance, and accreditation activity.

Our consultancy client is looking for an Power Systems Developer/Modeler who has experience in the power systems domain (not Power BI). We are looking for someone who has subject-matter exposure to one or more of the following: energy supply/demand forecasting, pathways, dispatch and redispatch, thermal analysis, energy load, flow and stability analysis, constraints, or related subjects. For this role, you will need strong Python or Plexos development credentials This role will require you to be in the Warwick or Wokingham office 2 days a week.
