Infrastructure Engineer Farnborough - 5 day's onsite - Permanent - Up to £80,000 Per Annum + Benefits SC Clearance or to be eligible Overview Fuel Recruitment is supporting a specialist organisation operating within National Security & Defence, who are seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to join their growing team. This role sits within an experienced infrastructure function responsible for secure, high-performance environments across multiple classifications. You'll work on modern virtualised, cloud and on-premises systems, contributing to Secure by Design principles and supporting both internal environments and customer-focused projects. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer looking to expand their technical expertise while working on impactful, complex projects. Key Responsibilities Maintain, improve and secure multi-classification virtualised collaboration and development environments. Support the enhancement of Secure by Design practices across internal systems and project deliveries. Provide infrastructure support across public cloud services (Microsoft 365/Azure) and hybrid environments throughout implementation and support life cycles. Manage infrastructure maintenance through change control processes. Monitor and triage alerts across ticketing and security systems, performing appropriate actions. Ensure all platforms are patched in line with provider recommendations and internal security policy. Rapidly assess and respond to incidents, ensuring service restoration and completion of follow-up actions. Identify recurring issues and propose improvements to boost stability and performance. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of secure cloud, network and virtualisation technologies. Share expertise through documentation, knowledge articles and team collaboration. Key Skills/Experience Essential: Windows Server 2016+ administration VMware vSphere/vCenter/VCF Azure and Microsoft 365 administration Linux (CentOS, Red Hat, Ubuntu) PowerShell Scripting End-User Device provisioning (Autopilot), maintenance, patching and hardening Understanding of SSO concepts and operations Experience working in protectively marked environments Desirable: Kubernetes administration (eg, VMware TKGI) DevSecOps tooling (Elastic, Nessus, etc.) Application packaging HashiCorp Terraform HashiCorp Vault Experience working within Agile sprint environments

We are currently looking for an experienced Linux engineer to work for a client of ours. You must have current SC clearance and be a sole British citizen for this role as it will be working in a highly secure environment. You will be working within the infrastructure team that looks after the clients public cloud SaaS offering looking after the Linux infrastructure with a main focus on Ubuntu, CentOS and RedHat. You will have experience with RedHat Openshift and EUD provisioning maintenance, patching and hardening. Experience with SSO. VMware, Azure and networking is a must and any Scripting experience with ansible or powershell would help. Due to the nature of the role you will need to be on site 5 days a week and the role will be outside IR35.

We are currently looking for an experience Android/Kotlin developer with current SC clearance to work for a client of ours. You will have experience of writing state management and SQLite with knowledge of MapLibre and Geo data structures. You will be comfortable with programming in a limited containerised environment and developing on physical devices not emulators. This is an urgent requirement to start immediately initially till the end of March (end of financial year) with a view to extending significantly after. You must be a sole British citizen for this role and the role will need you to be on site 3 days a week and will be outside IR35.

An E-commerce client of ours is looking for an experience Wordpress Developer to join their marketing team as they bring all there group websites back in house. They are looking for someone with experience with Wordpress Multisite and Gutenberg for editing. They use ACF for listings and Google maps API for mapping on their sites. With Hubspot as the CRM there Ecommerce platforms are run on WooCommerce. You will be working on 3 group sites and we are looking for someone who can bring their experience and ideas to the table to help improve the sites look, performance and reach.

Our consultancy client are looking for someone with expertise in energy/power systems with a strong background in data analysis to support business decisions and drive improvement in their clients operations. You will develop and maintain data models, reports and dashboards that provide insights into power system performance and business operations and analyse power system operations and market trends to identify opportunities for improvement and optimisation. Working with cross functional teams to gather and document business requirements related to power systems and conduct feasibility studies and cost benefit analysis to support the decision making processes. You will assist in the development and implementation of strategies to enhance the reliability and efficiency of power systems and monitor regulatory changes and assess their impact on business operations and compliance. Also providing technical expertise and support in evaluation and selection of power system technologies and solutions and prepare and present findings and recommendations to stakeholders and senior management. For this role you will need to be on sire in Wokingham or Warwick 2 days a week and will be inside IR35.
