Full Stack .NET Developer (C#, ASP.NET Core) Oxfordshire / Hybrid (1 day per week in office) Easily commutable from Oxford, Milton Keynes, Birmingham and London (direct rail) £40,000 to £50,000 plus great benefits. How often do you get to rewrite a whole product? A growing software house is rebuilding its core system from the ground up in modern .NET, replacing a decades-old platform that is being phased out over the next few years, and this role sits right in the middle of that work. You will be building the new product in C# and ASP.NET Core: real greenfield code on one side, a live system with real users on the other, and the job of moving one to the other well. You will report to a Senior Developer who reviews your work and invests in your growth, inside a close-knit production team where the newest voice in the room can still change how something gets built. The wider company is expanding fast: five technical hires this year, with brand new testing and project management functions on the way. You will need commercial C# and ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework, SQL Server, and front-end ability across HTML, CSS and JavaScript including jQuery, plus a tidy, test-aware approach to your own code and the confidence to speak with customers when support needs a developer's brain. REST APIs, Azure DevOps, DevExtreme, database design principles and automated testing are all a plus rather than essential.

Senior .NET Developer (C#, ASP.NET Core) Oxfordshire / Hybrid (1 day per week in office) Easily commutable from Oxford, Milton Keynes, Birmingham and London (direct rail) £55,000 to £65,000 plus great benefits A growing software house is hiring a Senior Developer to take ownership of an established platform that runs the daily operations of several independent businesses within a larger group. More businesses are moving onto the system over the next couple of years, so both the platform and this role get bigger with time. This is a role with real ownership. You will lead the relationship with the businesses using the system, work out what they need next, and develop the platform to deliver it. A full stack developer reports to you, so you will be reviewing their work and shaping how they grow, while staying hands-on in the code yourself every day. The company is in a proper growth phase: five hires this year across development and infrastructure, with new testing and project management functions being built out too. You will be an experienced C# developer who has led or managed at least one developer before and who enjoys talking to the people who actually use what you build. You will need strong commercial C# with ASP.NET Core and Entity Framework, depth in SQL Server including schema design and query tuning, working front-end skills across HTML, CSS, JavaScript and jQuery, REST API experience and disciplined Git habits within an agile team. Domain driven design, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, very large datasets and BI integrations are all a plus rather than essential.
