Work on all aspects of pump selection, cost estimating, proposal related activity up to and including final pricing in accordance with the end to end Tendering Policy & Procedure process. Have the opportunity to collaborate with Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations & Manufacturing, Project Management, Finance and Legal to appreciate what they do, why they do it, and the associated commercial considerations. Work through a 4 year internal apprenticeship training programme. Attend day release college and complete all assignments and examinations to obtain relevant publications. Complete SCQF publication in conjunction with the education provider. During the apprenticeship complete and present a variety of projects on engineering subjects related to your training. You must have valid right to work in the UK to apply for this role. Physical Demands Required daily to stand, sit, walk, talk, hear, and see (specific close vision abilities are required to perform computer work). Required occasionally to stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl. Required daily to use hands and fingers and arms to reach (to operate a computer and telephone). Required occasionally to lift and/or move objects that are light to moderate. Required occasionally to travel (usually by air or road so may be required to sit for extended periods).
