Senior Software Engineer Java / JavaScript / Geospatial (Apply online only) per day, Outside IR35 Initial 6 month Contract Fully Remote (Must be based in UK) Our exclusive Consultancy partner urgently requires the services of 4 Senior Software Developers to join a project team, delivering services for a high profile Government customer. No SC Clearance is required, however experience working in the Public Sector is desirable. Skills & Experience needed: A Senior software Developer with experience of leading front and back-end development. The Senior software Developer must be experienced in using of Java, at least one of these Software Developers must have experience of Delphi, and they must have knowledge of most of Python, CSS, Docker, Azure, AWS, - or be able to demonstrate sufficient knowledge of similar tools to adopt these quickly. It is desirable that the candidate will also have experience of Postgres/PostGIS. The Senior Software Developer must be able to pick up existing codebases, and improve / amend them, as well as develop and implement new features. They must be comfortable turning designs into new front-end applications, and applying design changes to existing applications. They must be adaptable, and able to identify where their role can support other areas of the team. Technical Expertise: Programming Proficiency: Advanced skills in full stack development using Java and Javascript, with demonstrated experience in building production-grade applications. At least one of these roles should have experience of Delphi Cloud Architecture: Understanding of cloud-native architectures, particularly in AWS or Azure environments. Hands-on experience developing and debugging CI/CD pipelines, including fluency with containerised deployment methodologies. The Developers will ideally have hands-on experience with geospatial systems, OpenLayers, Postgis, and MapFish (Desirable skills). Professional Capabilities: The Developer is accustomed to working in Agile and/or Kanban teams. The Developer should demonstrate experience of leading development teams. The Developer should demonstrate experience of working in cross-disciplinary teams and should be comfortable to understand and engage with their key stakeholders in a large organisation. Senior Project Manager Payroll programme - BPO outsourcing (HR / Payroll domain) Initial 3 Month Contract (Very likely long term extensions) (Apply online only) per day, Outside IR35 Fully Remote Unify is proud to exclusively represent an established UK Consultancy, who are looking to engage the services of a Senior Project Manager, to oversee the delivery of a large Payroll programme. The PM must take full responsibility for the definition, approach, facilitation, and satisfactory completion of the initial procurement and implementation planning phases. Overview: The customer is initiating a new EMEA Payroll Programme focused on implementing a modern, global solution utilising the Deel vendor platform. The initial engagement will support the critical procurement and technical phase, specifically focusing on defining detailed business requirements, ensuring technical rigour, and managing integration workstreams. This is an excellent opportunity for future growth. The work is expected to expand into subsequent phases, including: UK Payroll integration; Broader scope projects involving Time & Attendance and HRIS implementations. Required Experience and Core Skills: Demonstrable experience delivering a Payroll Programme of Work (i.e., not just a project within a payroll function). Proven experience operating in a corporate environment. Recent, hands-on experience with Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) solutions, particularly within the HR/Payroll domain. Experience successfully navigating and delivering change within a large, matrixed organisation with multiple management levels and complex stakeholder structures. Any experience with the Deel Vendor platform or similar Global EOR/Payroll solutions (e.g., Remote, Papaya Global) is highly advantageous. Stakeholder & Cultural Fit: Experience engaging with and managing expectations of senior leaders / stakeholders (HR Director level and Head of IS level). Demonstrated cultural sensitivity and previous experience working on initiatives with a Middle East and Europe scope/stakeholder base is a significant advantage. Expectations: The PM must take full responsibility for the definition, approach, facilitation, and satisfactory completion of the initial procurement and implementation planning phases. End-to-End Delivery: Proven ability to manage complex, medium-to-large scale projects, including managing all aspects of the project lifecycle, from kick-off through to transition. Stakeholder Management: Exceptional communication skills with proven experience managing diverse senior stakeholders, providing regular, accurate status reports, and managing expectations. Risk & Issue Management: Proactive management of risks and dependencies, particularly those related to the technical integration with existing enterprise systems.
