Due to sustained growth and a long-term commitment to high-volume manufacturing at their Witney site, we have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Vision Systems Engineer to join the Operations Engineering Group. As a Senior Vision Systems Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in supporting and enhancing the manufacturing processes for flagship biosensor products. You ll bring cutting-edge vision system expertise to drive quality, consistency, and efficiency across automated production lines. Working closely with cross-functional teams in Manufacturing and R&D, you'll be involved in every stage of vision system development from defining technical specifications to hands-on implementation and optimisation. Day-to-Day Responsibilities Collaborate with engineering and production teams to define, design, and implement machine vision solutions on automated manufacturing equipment. Lead troubleshooting and continuous improvement efforts for vision systems, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime. Analyse inspection system data, monitor KPIs, and proactively drive improvements in accuracy and efficiency. Document system requirements, validation protocols, and compliance measures in line with medical device regulations. What You'll Need HNC, HND, or Degree in an Engineering or Scientific discipline. Hands-on experience integrating vision systems and automated inspection technologies (ideally Cognex, Keyence), programming in C / C#. Familiarity with code readers, vision libraries/frameworks (OpenCV, PyTorch), and ideally, Siemens S7 or Allen Bradley PLCs.
