Working within the Asset information team at HS2 part of their acclaimed Digital Engineering function. They re looking for an Asset Information System Specialist to act as the technical backbone of their asset information system, ensuring it remains stable, usable, and fit for purpose as thousands of new assets are brought into operation. This is a technical system support and administration role, sitting within a wider Digital Engineering function alongside CAD and GIS teams. You ll be the go-to person for system issues, enhancements and integrations, working closely with users, contractors and the external software provider. You won t be building systems from scratch, but you will be critical in keeping a large, mature asset information system functional, improving how it s used, and ensuring contractors can successfully integrate their data. Essential: Experience supporting or administering an asset information system, CAFM or CMMS such as Maximo. Understanding of system integration, web services and data flows between systems Experience working in an asset-intensive environment (rail, utilities, infrastructure, defence, transport, etc.) Confidence engaging with users, suppliers and technical stakeholders Strong documentation and problem-solving skills Nice to have: Experience with systems such as Maximo, SAP, Oracle Asset Management or similar Power BI, Power Query or Tableau experience Rail or major infrastructure project exposure If you re looking for a role where your technical expertise genuinely underpins a major national programme, with superb promotion opportunities and experience which will be a game changer for your future career.
