A leading software providing is seeking a Full Stack (UI focused) ASP.NET Core Developer to join their team and aid in re-engineering their enterprise product suite from Legacy .NET Framework MVC to ASP.NET Core MVC. Whilst you'll take the lead on Front End architecture and implementation, you'll also work closely within the Middleware layer to deliver performant, maintainable, and clean solutions. Work Type: Hybrid role working 4 days per week in office, with potential flexibility down to 3 days per week once settled into the role. Required Skills & Experience: 4+ years' experience with ASP.NET MVC (ideally .NET 6+/.NET 8+/.NET 9). Strong experience with SCSS, TypeScript, and modern JS tooling (esbuild, Webpack, or similar). Solid understanding of Razor, partial views, tag helpers, and MVC patterns. Experience consuming and integrating with REST APIs (bonus: gRPC familiarity). Experience using Telerik Kendo UI or similar enterprise component libraries. Proficient in Bootstrap and responsive design principles. Good grasp of C# fundamentals and working knowledge of the Middleware layer (controllers, DI, services). Experience with source control (TFVC), CI/CD pipelines, and modern DevOps practices. Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate within Agile/Scrum teams. Desirable Skills: Experience with HTMX, SignalR, or Real Time UI updates. Experience building reusable libraries or internal frameworks for UI/Middleware integration. Familiarity with SQL Server and repository/data-access patterns. Telerik component customisation (grids, charts, layouts). Unit testing experience with xUnit, or equivalent. Knowledge of accessibility and internationalisation.
