Business Development Manager with an Estimating background now required to join one of the UK's most prestigious structural steelwork contractors circa 20m business. They are looking for a "Technical Closer." You will be the face of the business across London and the South East, targeting high-value steelwork packages (Commercial, Infrastructure, and Energy). This role is about more than just finding leads; it's about using your technical expertise to influence the pre-tender stage and secure the "right" projects for their world-class fabrication facility. Ideally, they are looking for someone with an Estimating or Pre-Construction background who can sit down with a Tier 1 contractor, look at a complex drawing, and talk intelligently about value engineering, connection design, and site logistics. You should have project wins already within London and SE Main Contractor market. Ability to understand BQs and structural complexities is essential.
