Our blue-chip client based in Hatfield, Herts are seeking a strategic and hands-on Cloud Operations Lead to oversee the management, support, and continuous improvement of their cloud infrastructure, with a primary focus on Microsoft Azure. You will also be responsible for the technical oversight, implementation, and architecture management of various SaaS platforms used across the business. The successful candidate will lead cloud migration initiatives, ensure the reliability and performance of key platforms, and drive operational excellence in a hybrid cloud environment. You will be a self-starter. Who will demonstrate passion about cloud computing and enjoy solving complex challenges in modern IT environments, who can demonstrate awareness of latest Azure features and security practices. You will be comfortable managing hybrid environments but constantly look to simplify, standardise, and cloud-optimise. Essential skills Strong experience with Microsoft Azure, including infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS), platform-as-a-service (PaaS), and identity services. Proven experience in managing Azure Active Directory, Conditional Access, Azure RBAC, Azure Monitor and other Microsoft Cloud systems. Scripting skills in PowerShell essential; familiarity with Azure CLI or ARM/Bicep templates highly desirable. Comfortable with hybrid environments including on-prem Active Directory, VMWare, Veeam, and Windows Server. Networking knowledge including DNS, DHCP, Firewalls, VPN, and Azure network security. • Strong documentation, troubleshooting, and communication skills. Team-oriented, proactive, and eager to share knowledge and grow cloud capabilities across the business. Microsoft Azure certified such as AZ-104 (Administrator), AZ-305 (Architect), or equivalent experience highly desirable. Other relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft 365, CompTIA Cloud+, MCSA, etc.) nice to have. This a hybrid role based in our client's offices in Hatfield, Herts 3 days per week with 2 days remote. A starting salary of up to £55,000 plus benefits is on offer to the right candidate.

Our client seeks a QA Software Developer in Test who will be responsible for ensuring the robustness of quality gates at every stage of the SDLC through assisting the Developers to produce well-tested features and conducting exploratory testing to find edge cases. As a QA Software Developer in Test you maintain and improve the existing test infrastructure and champion quality inside and outside the engineering team. Candidates will be tasked with raising quality at every step of the process. Use their expertise to "shift-left" the quality gates as much as possible to improve the delivery of the whole team. Assist the developers and mediate between them and the product team to establish valid and complete specifications for the features they are working on. Work with the developers to enhance and strengthen tests relevant to their new feature as early as possible through grooming sessions, test-code reviews and exploratory testing. To be considered you will have domain experience in Finance, ideally hedge funds and/or regulatory technologies. Able to fluently read OO languages like C# (but Java/C++/Ruby are also good). Experience of Unit testing frameworks (nUnit, jUnit, TestNG, etc.). Up-to-date with SPA Front-End testing technologies like Jest, React-test-library, Karma+protractor, etc… for both Desktop apps and Mobile Apps. Experience in end-to-end test frameworks like Selenium/Webdriver, Cypress, etc. You will inspire the whole team to care about quality, and when justified, resist external pressures to deliver prematurely. Be a role model for more junior QAs and developers. Measure the progress of testing efforts by using tools such as SonarQube. Be curious, keep up to date with the latest testing methods/technologies and propose solutions for continuous improvement. On offer is a salary circa £80,000 depending on experience. Candidates can work remotely from home but will ideally be located within a commutable distance of London so they can visit the office once a week to socialise and collaborate more easily with the team. Our client seeks a Senior Back-End Developer with C# (.Net Core) development experience and DevOps automation. As a Senior Back-End Developer you will work with the development and QA teams to ensure successful, timely, high quality sprint delivery. You will also: compile and analyse data, processes and code to troubleshoot problems and identify areas for improvement collaborate with other team members to establish objectives and design more functional, cohesive code to enhance user experience influence decisions around technical approach and choice of tools take ownership of delivery of features from inception through to production on multiple projects conduct code reviews and ensure ongoing improvement in code quality lead and promote ongoing adoption of development best practices, developing ideas for new features by monitoring industry developments and trends. Candidates should have at least 5 years' experience in C# (.NET Core) development and knowledge of SOLID principles. Other experience include Web Sockets, AWS/Azure and DevOps automation ideally using Terraform or similar. As a problem solver you will use your initiative to present solutions rather than issues. Be able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines, with the flexibility to juggle a range of different tasks in an organised way. You should have proven ability to quickly learn and apply new technologies and work in a fast-paced environment. On offer is a salary up to £120,000 depending on experience. Our client seeks a SAP S4 Systems Analyst with both functional and configuration experience in the Production Planning (PP) and Quality Management (QM) modules of SAP. Experience of EH&S will be a benefit too. You will be responsible for providing first line support for the business with issues experienced in these modules. Analysing current processes and identify opportunities for process and efficiency improvements. As part of the role you will support any project work that may be taking place in this area, and manage the Application Management Support (AMS) team where issues were escalated to them. Management of EH&S issues, either through own knowledge or by creating tickets on AMS. Training in EH&S can be arranged to broaden skillset. Key duties include providing first line support to the business to ensure effective running of the PP and QM processes. Analysing change requests submitted by the business. Configure, document and test any changes that may be required due to change requests or issue resolution. Have regular contact with the business to identify areas of improvement. Work with other functional experts in the team to ensure swift issue resolution and seamless integration between functional modules. Keep up to date with new developments in SAP and present this to the business where applicable. You must be self-starting and self-reliant with a demonstrable passion for business improvement through technology. You must have the ability to communicate effectively with senior management, with operational staff and with (IT) technical staff. Experience training staff and influencing them to adopt best practice solutions. The ability to speak European languages such as French, German would be a benefit but not essential.
