And they re looking for a proactive and enthusiastic 1st Line Support Analyst to join a growing IT Service Desk team. What you ll be doing As a 1st Line Support Analyst, you ll be the first point of contact for IT queries, helping colleagues resolve issues quickly and efficiently. Your responsibilities will include: Diagnosing and resolving technical issues. Providing end-user remote support. Installing authorised software to laptops and desktops using Microsoft InTune. Maintaining accurate logs for equipment and users. Setting up new user accounts and disabling expired accounts in line with policy. Keeping IT documentation and knowledge base content up to date. Escalating complex issues and identifying incident trends. Liaising with third parties to resolve issues (e.g. connectivity, phone lines). Supporting wider IT team projects when required. What you ll need We re looking for someone with a strong interest in technology, great communication skills and a proactive attitude. You ll need to demonstrate: Knowledge of Windows 10/11 and Microsoft Office software. Understanding of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP). Familiarity with Office 365 and Azure. Experience with device management (InTune/MDM solutions). Knowledge of Entra Active Directory and on-prem Active Directory concepts. Experience with IT service desk and asset management systems. A-level (or equivalent) qualification in IT or a related subject. Strong customer service skills and the ability to stay calm under pressure. Collaborate with development teams to ensure requirements are translated into effective solutions. Produce clear and concise documentation, including requirement specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria. Facilitate workshops and stakeholder meetings, acting as a bridge between business and technical teams. Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), ensuring solutions meet business needs. Contribute to change management activities to help embed new systems, processes, and tools. Provide data analysis and reporting to support informed decision-making. Key Skills & Experience: Proven experience as a Business Analyst within complex, multi-stakeholder environments. Strong understanding of the project lifecycle and experience across both business and IT change initiatives. Experience in finance and operations functions, ideally within ERP and workflow-related projects. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to manage expectations and build collaborative relationships. Solid experience in requirements gathering, process mapping, documentation, and supporting solution design. Familiarity with data projects and working with development teams on process and reporting improvements. Experience supporting UAT and embedding new systems/processes. Our client, a well-established organisation is seeking a proactive IT Technical Analyst to take ownership of their IT infrastructure, service delivery, and projects. This is a varied and dynamic role where you ll be instrumental in ensuring operational excellence, driving continuous improvement, and enhancing IT performance across the business. The Role As IT Technical Analyst, you will: Oversee the day-to-day delivery of IT services, ensuring availability, security, and minimal disruption. Lead IT operations in line with ITIL best practices, including incident, problem, change, and asset management. Develop and implement IT operations strategies that support wider business objectives. Manage IT infrastructure, including Windows Server, SQL, virtualisation platforms, networking, and cloud services. Maintain compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and robust data security policies.
