Enterprise Architect - Hybrid (Nottingham) - £80-85K + car - Permanent An interesting opportunity for an experienced candidate to join a major transformation programme across a large enterprise, and be responsible for ensuring architectural coherence, strategy and governance is robust. The environment is ambiguous and fast-moving environment, so resilience and communication skills are as important as knowledge of frameworks to succeed in the role. The key priority for this role is to create the enterprise roadmap for the organisation: to enable them to make coherent, consistent decisions and to understand risk, dependencies and opportunities as they work through their transformation. You'll be responsible for working closely with business stakeholders, technical and business teams and business, technical and solution architects to bring a single view of the organisation, and to bring alignment across a distributed architecture function. The role is primarily focussed on influencing rather than enforcing; it's not a managerial role and you will need to have strong skills in adding value and bringing people on the journey without any direct authority, and the collaborative instinct to work with people rather than around them. You'll have had previous experience as an Enterprise Architect, ideally in a large enterprise, and been involved in major transformations in the past - though what matters most is a track record of actually delivering, not just running governance frameworks. TOGAF, BISBOC would be a bonus but are not essential. The role is based in Nottingham and you'll need to be there a couple of days a week. The role will pay up to around £85K as a base salary, plus a car allowance and a strong benefits package.
