What You'll Be Doing As a Sales Engineer, you'll act as the bridge between the sales team and engineering functions-helping design, present, and guide the delivery of tailored technical solutions. You'll work closely with Presales, Solution Consultants, and Sales Teams across the entire solution lifecycle, from qualification through to delivery. Key Responsibilities: Act as a trusted technical advisor to sales and solution teams from early-stage engagement. Qualify opportunities from both a technical and commercial perspective. Respond to RFPs/tenders with technical and commercial insight. Architect and propose validated designs that align with customer needs. Deliver compelling presentations and product demonstrations (both in-person and remote). Maintain technical documentation and support teams through the order lifecycle. Collaborate with Product, Sales, Engineering, and Delivery teams. Constantly look for ways to improve how we work and deliver value. What We're Looking For Experience in the managed IT or telecoms sector. Solid knowledge of network principles (TCP/IP, routing protocols like OSPF & BGP, VRRP). Understanding of security concepts: firewalls, UTM, IPSec, SIEM, etc. Hands-on experience with at least two of the following: Networks, Cloud, Unified Communications, Cyber Security. Desirable: SD-WAN & SASE experience. Understanding of public/private cloud architecture. Technical certifications are a plus. Commercial awareness and presentation skills
