Job Summary We are looking for an experienced Data Developer with an interest and experience in providing data analytic solutions utilising Power Apps and SQL to clients on major construction and infrastructure projects. In this team you will play a crucial part in delivering and monitoring Nuclear & Defence programmes which are the most technical and complex challenges facing the UK today, helping us leave a safer environment for future generations. Responsibilities Work closely with directors and project managers to define scope, technical requirements, success criteria and delivery plans. Elicit and translate business and technical requirements into data, integration and solution specifications. Design and implement scalable ETL pipelines and data models; own data quality, lineage and documentation. Build and operationalise predictive analytics and automated processes; ensure monitoring and maintainability. Develop high impact reports and self-service solutions using Power BI (data modelling, DAX, optimisation). Rapidly prototype and deliver business apps/flows with PowerApps and Power Automate. Produce robust SQL for data extraction, transformation and performance tuning across relational/columnar stores. Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to technical and non-technical audiences; prepare presentations and demo sessions. Support PMs and leadership by removing technical blockers, estimating effort and tracking deliver. Engage with clients and internal stakeholders as required; provide consultancy input and recommendations. Qualifications Must have experience in applying Data Analytics in the construction or civil engineering sectors. Deep proficiency in SQL and data modelling (dimensional and normalised). Strong requirement gathering and stakeholder management skills. Excellent business acumen and ability to map analytics to measurable business outcomes. Hands on experience with Power BI, PowerApps and Power Automate. Practical experience in Python for data engineering, feature engineering and model development. Solid knowledge of ETL, ETL design patterns, data warehousing and data governance. Engineering and mathematical mindset. Familiarity with Microsoft Azure and AI/ML platforms. Current security clearance, or ability to obtain security clearance. Ideally HNC, HND or Degree qualified in Construction Management, Data Science, Engineering, IT, or similar disciplines. IT Workday Administrator (HCM & Finance) - Leeds About this opportunity We are seeking an IT Workday Systems Administrator to join our IT team, supporting the day to day administration, configuration, and continuous improvement of Workday across Human Capital Management (HCM) and Finance. This role will ensure the platform remains secure, compliant, and reliable, while supporting business operations through effective release management, stakeholder engagement, reporting and analytics, and integration support. As a IT Workday Systems Administrator you will: Workday HCM administration Administer and configure core HCM functionality (e.g., staffing, job profiles, organisations, business processes, security roles) in line with approved design and governance. Support HR processes including hire, change job, compensation changes, leave and absence, onboarding/offboarding and data corrections, ensuring data quality and auditability. Maintain eligibility rules, condition rules, calculated fields and validations to enable efficient and compliant HR operations. Partner with HR stakeholders to translate business requirements into Workday configuration and clear operational guidance. Workday Finance administration Provide functional administration and support for Workday Finance, working with Finance stakeholders on day to day queries and continuous improvement. Support key finance processes such as supplier/customer maintenance, invoicing, expenses, approvals, period close support activities and master data governance (as applicable to Gleeds' Workday footprint). Maintain and troubleshoot finance related business processes, validations and security to support strong controls and segregation of duties. Support data quality initiatives, including validation checks, reconciliations and root cause analysis of data issues. Provide guidance on data definitions and the appropriate use of reports to enable consistent decision making. Integrations, releases and change control Support and monitor integrations between Workday and upstream/downstream systems (e.g., payroll, identity management, finance tooling), escalating to internal SMEs or vendors where required. Participate in Workday release cycles: assess impact, coordinate stakeholder testing, execute regression tests and support deployment activities. Operate within a controlled change process, ensuring changes are documented, approved and traceable (including configuration, security and report changes). Maintain system documentation, including process maps, configuration summaries, runbooks and knowledge articles. Security, controls and compliance Administer Workday security roles, domain security policies and business process security policies to meet audit, privacy and access control requirements.
