Overview We're seeking a Technical Lead to support our technology leadership team through a major transformation program. This role will involve overseeing technical scoping and design, providing guidance and best practice for deployment and delivery. You'll play a key part in driving the transition from individual use case development to the industrialisation and scaling of technical tools across the business. Key Responsibilities Support the operation of the newly established Technical Design Authority (TDA). Act as the primary bridge between technology leadership and project delivery teams, managing technical delivery risks. Lead TDA design reviews for solution triage and oversight. Contribute to the development and refinement of the AI strategy and roadmap in collaboration with senior technical leaders. Provide technical oversight, ensuring adherence to firm-wide standards and guidance during model development. Ensure that solutions are practical, sustainable, and aligned with platform and industrialisation pathways. Support engagement leads in managing technical delivery risks across a portfolio of projects. Key Skills & Experience Strong experience with Azure services . Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools (eg, Terraform). Scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash, or Python . Proven ability to learn and apply new technologies quickly. Experience designing, coding, and optimizing generative AI models , including LLMs such as GPT and BERT. Deep understanding of AI/ML algorithms , model optimization, and deployment of scalable cloud solutions. Strong interest in automation, cloud architecture , and secure-by-design principles. Experience leading technical design authorities and driving decision-making. Proven ability to collaborate with key stakeholders to shape solution design and ensure successful delivery. Educational Background Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering , or a related field (Master's or PhD preferred). Advanced certifications in AI/ML, cloud computing , or data engineering are advantageous.
