MJA are currently partnered with an insurance client who are looking for a Data Engineer. In this role you'll help deliver accurate, curated data to power analytics and reporting across the business, working closely with Data Analytics and key stakeholders. You'll use modern cloud technologies to improve pipelines, migrate to data/reports to the cloud and build robust data quality controls. This is a hybrid role offering up to £70,000 plus bonus. You will work from their central London office 3 days per week. The role: Run and monitor daily ETL processes feeding the central data repository. Optimise, refactor, and maintain existing pipelines and jobs Support the Analytics team with reconciliations and downstream needs Contribute to the ongoing migration of data platforms to the cloud. The candidate: Strong Python and SQL, with solid SDLC practices and version control (Git). Experience building reliable data pipelines (preferably FiveTran/Matillion) and warehousing solutions on cloud platforms (preferably Azure) Familiarity with Power BI Good grasp of data modelling (dimensional/star schemas) and DWH concepts.
