They are pushing the boundaries of the ability for groups, companies in the UK to make innovation and gain in Energy, Transport, Sustainability and Environmental decisions to improve climate and living quality across the UK and globally. This Technical Lead will be a hands-on Software Role but with a passion and ability to lead projects, be innovative, delivery and results-focused and able to innovate quickly and then build quality and stability post-launch after the delivery. Their Code base is mainly a mix between Python, Javascript, Postgres, Vue, Postgres Gis but always pushing forward with new technologies and more and more development on AWS, Docker, Kubernetes etc. So even if you are a strong Dev in C++/C# and feel comfortable moving across to Python/Javascript my client is open to this.
