What we currently use We build backend services with Java, Spring Boot, Web Services, Mongo DB We integrate with existing core Java Cargo applications via REST APIs We build frontends with Angular and Ionic framework for mobile apps We do continuous integration with Gitlab/Bamboo We use Scrum to organize ourselves What we expect from you Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent Proven experience as a MongoDB DBA or similar role (4+ years recommended) Strong understanding of MongoDB architecture, including sharding, replication, and indexing Experience working with MongoDB Atlas or self-managed clusters Proficiency with Linux systems and shell scripting Familiarity with monitoring tools and performance tuning techniques Experience with backup and disaster recovery processes Review the current Debezium deployment architecture, including Oracle connector configuration, Kafka integration, and downstream consumers. Analyze Oracle database setup for CDC compatibility (e.g., redo log configuration, supplemental logging, privileges). Evaluate connector performance, lag, and error handling mechanisms. Identify bottlenecks, misconfigurations, or anti-patterns in the current implementation. Provide a detailed report with findings, best practices, and actionable recommendations. Optionally, support implementation of recommended changes and performance tuning. What we require from you 4+ years of experience as a MongoDB DBA in production environments Deep expertise in MongoDB architecture, including replication, sharding, backup, and recovery Strong hands-on experience with Debezium, especially the Oracle connector (LogMiner). Deep understanding of Oracle internals relevant to CDC: redo logs, SCNs, archive log mode, supplemental logging. Proficiency with Apache Kafka and Kafka ecosystem tools. Experience with monitoring and debugging Debezium connectors in production environments. Ability to analyze logs, metrics, and connector configurations to identify root causes of issues. We are looking for an Offensive Security Engineer to join our Security & GRC team. The role will be reporting to the Security Architect. Responsibilities We are seeking an Offensive Security Engineer to establish and guide our Product Security Team. The successful candidate will drive our penetration testing capability, our secure software development practices, oversee vulnerability remediation, and build automated offensive security capabilities integrated into our agile CI/CD environment. Working within the SCRUM methodology, the Offensive Security Engineer will ensure that security is embedded into every sprint, release, and product lifecycle stage. As our SaaS products are primarily developed in Java based web applications, the ideal candidate will bring hands on experience in software development and a strong understanding of secure coding practices in Java and modern web technologies. Security governance & development enablement Establish secure coding standards, reusable libraries, and best practices for Java web application development. Collaborate with product owners and developers to integrate security requirements into user stories. Provide guidance on threat modeling and secure design during sprint planning. Ensure security tasks are prioritized alongside functional requirements in the agile backlog. Offensive security & testing Build and oversee internal penetration testing capabilities for web applications and APIs. Ensure each release in the CI/CD chain undergoes automated and manual security testing. Expand testing scope to infrastructure and cloud environments as maturity grows. Continuously simulate attacker techniques to validate product resilience. Drive adoption of SAST (Static Application Security Testing) and DAST (Dynamic Application Security Testing) solutions, with emphasis on Java and web application frameworks. Integrate automated security testing into CI/CD pipelines. Oversee development of unit test frameworks with embedded security checks. Compliance & reporting Align product security practices with compliance frameworks (ISO27001, SOC2, NIS2, EU AI Act, etc.). Collaborate with Compliance and IT Security teams to maintain certifications and audit readiness. Provide leadership with clear reporting on product security posture, vulnerabilities, and remediation progress. Define backlog items related to security improvements, vulnerability remediation, and testing initiatives. Facilitate sprint planning, daily stand ups, retrospectives, and ensure delivery of security objectives. Mentor and coach team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. Overview The role will report to Lead Product Manager. Responsibilities To specify software development requirements to meet the strategic, financial and operational needs of CHAMP Cargosystems clients and to provide support to the development team during development. Provide most efficient solutions to requirements keeping in mind the product and technical debt. Able to own the end-to-end business domain module and work with all stakeholders to agree a documented and efficient solution consisting of various functional and integration specifications. Able to lead a project from product delivery side from inception to go-live and leading various analysts and development team. Support and mentor other business analysts and development team in the development process. Apply technical and product knowledge to analyze requirements and define the most suitable solution for enhancement of the application. Fully document functional and technical solutions, obtain customer /stakeholder approval prior to technical development, ensuring updated system support documentation is produced during the implementation phase. Define the test cases and provide BA acceptance for developments and fixes done by development team.
