My client, a leader in the automotive sector, is currently seeking a Senior Test Engineer to join their Test Operations Department in Leamington Spa, UK. This contract role involves prototype development, validation, and testing of driveline and transmission systems. Key Responsibilities: Lead test rig installation work packages, ensuring delivery against time, cost, and quality targets. Plan and commission bespoke test rig installations, managing design teams, technologies, equipment, and processes. Interpret technical requirements and development plans (DVPs) to ensure test rig design and functionality meet project needs. Define instrumentation requirements based on project objectives. Location: 25-29 Chapel Street Southport, Merseyside Daily Rate: £14.54/hr - PAYE, £18.87/hr UMB Contract Day: 8th December 2025 from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM Key Responsibilities: Ground Floor Re-install equipment in: 1x Quiet Room (install monitor screens on newly supplied arms) 2x Counter Positions 2x Admin Desks 1x Online Banking Desk 1x ID Scanner 1x Network Printer (Admin) Install: 1x Tech Bar (may include tablet setup - TBC) 1x Kensington Lock for Tech Bar First Floor Re-install equipment in: 7x Quiet Rooms (install monitor screens on newly supplied arms) 1x Network Printer (Communal Area) Install: 1x Customer Self-Service Room Second Floor Re-install: 1x ID Scanner Key Requirements: Proven experience in IT hardware deployment and installation. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured instructions. Comfortable working in active or under-construction environments. Excellent communication and coordination skills. Physically capable of handling and installing IT equipment. Familiarity with monitor arms, ID scanners, printers, and tech bar setups preferred.
