ABOUT THE ROLE * Report to the Global Head of STEM Programmes and collaborate with STEM colleagues across our International Study Centres. * Design and develop Computer Science and Cyber Security modules in alignment with academic and progression partner requirements. * Create comprehensive module materials including: * Schemes of Work (Lesson plans) and learning outcomes * Lecture slides and digital learning resources * Student handbooks and tutor guidance documents * Class Activities * Develop summative and formative assessments, including exam papers, coursework, and marking rubrics. * Ensure alignment with UK academic standards, progression university expectations, and RQF level descriptors. * Contribute content for the Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) and structure it for ease of delivery and learner engagement. * Embed principles of accessibility, inclusivity, and digital innovation in all learning materials. ABOUT YOU * Master’s degree (or in progress) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, or a closely related field. * Proven experience in designing academic content and assessments for RQF Levels 3, 4, or 6. * Strong technical skills in: * Object-Oriented Programming (e.g., Java, Python) * Web development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) * Databases (e.g., SQL) and basic computer networking * Familiarity with key computing topics such as: * Software Engineering * Algorithms and Data Structures * Operating Systems * Cyber Security Fundamentals * Experience using Virtual Learning Environments (e.g., Moodle, Canvas, Blackboard). * Excellent written communication skills and the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for diverse audiences. * Highly organised with the ability to manage workload independently while collaborating within a team structure. * Experience in UK Higher or Further Education curriculum development. * Familiarity with pedagogical frameworks such as constructive alignment. * Ability to integrate employability, sustainability, and digital literacy themes into academic content. * Awareness of university progression pathways and quality assurance processes.
