The company I am currently working for are currently in need of Geo-Environmental Engineer, the company I am recruiting for provides environmental, health, safety, and ground engineering consulting services. Offering asbestos and water hygiene, building science, carbon management and sustainability, civil and structural engineering, communication, construction safety, contaminated land and brownfield redevelopment, business software development and support, contracting, and drilling services. Successful candidates will be responsible for undertaking project investigations with both a geo-environmental content as directed by the Project Manager – seeing the Project through from commencement to completion. It is expected that employees working at this grade will have project finance awareness, be client facing, self-motivated, exhibit a proactive approach, and work well within a team environment. Person specification: * BSc degree level qualified in Geology, Chemistry, Civil Engineering or a related subject essential * Experience of undertaking intrusive site investigations, including leading fieldworks including Health & Safety issues, managing sub-contractors, and undertaking sampling and laboratory scheduling * Experience in compliance with CDM regulations and production of Health and Safety documentation. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Prepared to work as part of a team or as an individual * The post holder will be expected to attend and pass internal and industry recognised external training courses. These may include, PTS, NRASWA, CCNSG, towing licence, CAT, First Aid and manual handling training * Candidates must be willing to spend a significant amount of their working day out on site and away from home. * Full UK driving licence.
