Role Purpose We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Contractor - Systems Engineer to join our team designing and developing high-integrity systems. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the whole systems engineering lifecycle and work in a multidisciplinary team to design a variety of complex systems. Qualifications, Experience and Skills Required A degree or similar qualification in an engineering discipline. A sound understanding of engineering, physics and applied mathematics and their application to solving real world problems. Excellent problem solving and analytical skills. Able to prioritise and manage projects and tasks effectively. Relevant experience in system design, electrical/electronic engineering and control systems. Experience in a customer facing role, providing technical interfaces to customers. Strong presentation, report writing, and communication skills. Ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels. Experience in engineering of vehicle electrification, power systems and/or renewable energy. Preferred A degree in Systems Engineering or a degree with Systems Engineering content. Experience in battery management system (BMS) design and implementation. Familiarity with process frameworks e.g. automotive SPICE and systems engineering processes.
