Senior Manual Tester with DV Clearance - Enterprise IT QA

Senior Manual Tester (DV Security Clearance) At CGI, you will play a key role in safeguarding the quality and reliability of critical enterprise platforms that support some of the UK's most important programmes. As a Tester, you will help ensure systems perform as intended, meet user needs, and deliver measurable value. Working directly on client site in Corsham, you will be entrusted with testing activities, collaborating closely with Agile delivery teams, and continuously improving how quality is embedded across the delivery lifecycle. Please note this role is based full time on client site near Chippenham. Due to the secure nature of the programme, you will need to hold DV or HLC clearance. Candidates with SC clearance who are willing to progress to HLC/DV will also be considered. Your future duties and responsibilities In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, usability, and reliability of an enterprise IT platform. You will plan, design, and execute testing activities across the delivery lifecycle, identifying defects early and validating that solutions meet both technical and business requirements. Working as part of Agile teams, you will contribute to continuous improvement and help ensure releases are robust, compliant, and fit for purpose. You will take ownership of test documentation, strategies, and evidence, collaborating with developers, analysts, and stakeholders to drive high standards and consistent outcomes. Design & Execute functional, regression, system, integration, and UAT testing Develop & Maintain test cases, scenarios, scripts, and test data Identify & Manage defects, including logging, tracking, retesting, and validation Contribute & Support test strategy and test planning activities Validate & Confirm fixes prior to release Document & Evidence testing activities for audit and compliance Required qualifications to be successful in this role You will have proven experience testing enterprise IT platforms and a strong understanding of structured testing approaches within service-focused environments. You will be detail oriented, organised, and confident communicating findings clearly to a range of stakeholders. Proven experience as a Manual Tester or QA Analyst on enterprise systems Strong ability to write clear, structured test cases and defect reports Experience using test and defect management tools (e.g. Jira, Azure DevOps) Knowledge of ITIL 4 concepts and service management environments Experience using documentation tools such as Confluence or SharePoint

I'm recruiting for severak Test Engineers to join my client based in North Bristol. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on exciting mission critical technologies that help keep people on the front line connected in high pressure situations. You'll be involved in a wide variety of projects, ranging from bespoke mobile applications and server side configuration to cloud based systems.You'll need to be happy coming into the Bristol office three days a week, and due to the nature of the work, you must either hold a British passport or have been a resident in the UK for the past five years, as employees are required to undergo security clearance.The roles will initially be more focused on manual testing across a range of mobile adnd web apps, integrating with hardware and cloud based systems. The company is investing heavily in automation and is keen to bring people on board who are curious and eager to get involved with this in the future. The projects are varied and genuinely interesting, covering everything from native Android apps to hardware integrations and connected cloud services. You'll be joining a collaborative test team made up of both permanent staff and contractors, working across multiple engineering teams.They are looking for people with a solid background in manual testing who, in a ideal world, also have exprience testing hardware or connected devices. You'll be expected to drive quality and process improvements, champion best practices, and collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and stakeholders to ensure requirements are testable, realistic, and clearly understood.You'll be involved across the full test lifecycle, from planning and execution through to triage and issue resolution, all while reporting testing outcomes clearly and effectively. You'll also have the chance to support customers during acceptance, release, and deployment phases.
