Senior Software Engineer (with Delivery Management)

Trusted Connectivity for AI-Powered Dominance. Everfox delivers trusted connectivity to protect the world's most critical environments and safeguard the sensitive data powering decision advantage. Built for mission-critical operations, Everfox protects what matters most by securing how data moves, how users access it, and how threats are neutralized across every domain. We enable mission speed and secure collaboration across networks, domains, and allies, while ensuring the data powering AI and advanced analytics remains trusted and protected. We don't just defend systems; we deliver decision dominance. Our Purpose. Protect what matters most by enabling organizations to operate security in the most complex and high-risk digital environments. Our Vision. To be the most trusted authority in high-assurance cybersecurity, enabling secure collaboration across every domain. Our Belief. Security should never limit mission success - it should enable it. Our Promise. We deliver absolute confidence in environments where failure is not an option. About the role: Everfox is hiring Senior Software Engineer to support our team in London, UK. This role suits a strong senior software engineer who wants to go beyond writing code. You do not need a formal delivery-management background, just solid engineering and an appetite to take on more: design, architecture, coordination, planning and end-to-end delivery. Generalists are welcome. What counts is the quality of your reasoning and problem-solving and how you take on a hard challenge, not the exact languages on your CV. You will split your time between hands-on work on our cross-platform desktop and mobile apps and managing delivery across the end-point software layer of the Everfox Hardsec product line. You will shape and deliver the end-point software that gives users access to our secure browsing and VDI solution, owning its design, development and overall user experience. The work spans Linux and Windows desktop applications and mobile apps on Android and iOS, with a focus on quality, usability and enterprise integration. You will also work closely with our testing lead on release management so that each multi-platform release ships reliably and on time. You will help shape the roadmap, coordinate delivery across our Hardsec solutions, and work with the stakeholders who depend on this software. The work sits on the critical path and is highly visible, directly supporting the commercial priorities of the business, so what you ship lands quickly with the people who use it. If you enjoy owning hard technical problems end to end while keeping a team aligned and delivering, this role is for you. Location This is a hybrid role in London, UK. Key Responsibilities: Engineering • Design, implement and maintain features and components for cross-platform desktop and mobile applications, with a focus on reliable, high-quality and highly usable software. • Write code primarily in modern C++, and work across other languages as the work requires. • Lead the scoping, design and estimating of new software and complex integration tasks, building prototypes to de-risk the harder ones. • Use AI tooling to improve development speed and quality. Delivery and management • Shape and deliver the roadmap for the end-point software, translating company and product priorities into a plan you own and drive. • Plan and coordinate work across a small team of engineers, removing blockers and keeping momentum. • Help coordinate delivery across our Hardsec solutions, keeping cross-team dependencies visible and managed. • Work with Product Managers, QA, Customer Success, Account Management and other Everfox development teams: translating requirements into well-scoped technical work, coordinating delivery, and handling integrations across teams. Test, release and improvement • Own release management for the software, working closely with our testing lead across both manual testing and automated test development. • Lead the end-to-end integration and test of the software as a component, including its integrations with hardware, with end-user workflow applications on the remote side, and with enterprise infrastructure such as identity providers. • Drive improvements in code maintainability, automation and supportability, championing code review, automated testing, stable APIs and the use of AI tooling and agentic workflows. Technical leadership • Provide technical leadership on projects, steering design choices, solving technical issues and guiding others on code quality and testing. • Mentor the engineers in your team, set clear objectives, and support their development towards their longer-term goals. Key Knowledge and Skills: • A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical or scientific subject. • Experience developing complex software in modern C++ for systems software and desktop or mobile applications. • Design and architecture experience, and the ability to solve systems-level problems with multiple complex interactions between components, including planning for failure. • A strong grasp of core computer science concepts: concurrency, IPC, networking, security including software exploitation, performance and algorithms. • A genuine appetite to take on delivery responsibility, even without a formal delivery management background. Nice to have • A proven ability to manage delivery: planning, prioritisation, and keeping stakeholders informed. • A track record of coordinating work across more than one team and keeping cross-team dependencies under control. • Java or Kotlin, including Android app and NDK/JNI development, and iOS development in Swift or Objective-C. • An understanding of usability, user experience and application design. • Experience with the Qt framework. • CI/CD experience with tooling such as GitLab, Docker and Kubernetes, and Python for automation and testing. • Familiarity with modern AI development tooling and agentic workflows. • Line-management experience. The role may include line-managing one or more developers depending on team shape, but the core of the job is engineering and delivery. • A passion for technology, shown through project work, professional roles or personal projects, and someone who enjoys technical challenges and delivering results. • Self-motivated, flexible and adaptable, and able to cope when thrown in at the deep end. • Understands the importance of planning, prioritization and getting work done on schedule. • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with and lead others. • Empathy, and a habit of open communication and effective feedback. • Can own products and features independently, from inception to delivery, while bringing others along rather than delivering solo. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is: £76 500.00 GBP The actual salary offered may vary within the range based on a candidates' unique experience, locale, and business needs. In addition to base salary and either bonus or commission, Everfox offers a generous benefits package including competitive annual leave, pension match, PMI, dental, health cash plan, income protection, in a hybrid work environment. Our Talent Acquisition team will provide specific information regarding salary and benefits offerings. Senior IT Engineer
Runway Financial
We are building AI to simulate the world through merging art and science. We believe that world models are at the frontier of progress in artificial intelligence. Language models alone won't solve the world's hardest problems - robotics, disease, scientific discovery. Real progress requires models that experience the world and learn from their mistakes, the same way that humans do. And this kind of trial and error can be massively accelerated when done in simulation, rather than in the real world. World models offer the most clear path to general-purpose simulation, changing how stories are told, how scientific progress is made and how the next frontiers of humanity are reached. Open to hiring remote across EMEA - preferable to have someone near our office in London. We're looking for someone to join our IT team and take ownership of day-to-day technical support for a globally distributed company. You'd report to the Head of IT/Security and be the first point of contact for employees with requests, device issues, and account problems. You'll own the fundamentals from day one: handling tickets, provisioning laptops, running on boarding, and keeping our SaaS stack in order. But this is a small team at a fast-growing AI company, so the scope grows quickly. You'll get pulled into real projects sooner than you'd expect, across security, infrastructure, and automation. How far you take it depends on what you're good at and what interests you. This role is also the start of our IT presence internationally. Most of the company sits in North America today, and you'd be our first IT hire outside it, extending support coverage to new time zones and helping lay the groundwork as we grow globally. What you'll do Handle help-desk tickets: Triage and resolve employee requests - password resets, access provisioning, Slack/Google Workspace/Zoom troubleshooting, and general "my thing is broken" support Manage the device lifecycle: Procure, provision, configure, and ship laptops for new hires. Handle off-boarding wipes and returns. Keep the asset inventory accurate. Run on boarding and off boarding: Create accounts, apply security profiles, draft welcome communications, and make sure new employees have everything before day one Administer Google Workspace: Manage users, groups, aliases, and license assignments. You'll use both the admin console and CLI tools regularly. Support endpoint compliance: Work with our device trust tooling to keep employee machines meeting security policies, and follow up when they don't Deploy and enforce security policies: Help roll out and maintain endpoint security configurations, access controls, and compliance requirements across the fleet Manage corporate software: Handle seat assignments, renewals, license optimization, and access reviews across our SaaS stack Support office networking and AV: Help maintain networking equipment, conference room setups, and office technology across our physical locations as needed Train and enable employees: Deliver lightweight technical guidance and training on IT systems, both for new hires and for ongoing support (written guides, short walkthroughs, the occasional screen share) Write things down: Maintain run-books, knowledge base articles, and process docs. If you fix something, document how. Where this role can grow We don't expect you to stay in a pure helpdesk lane. Our SOC2 program has ongoing evidence collection and device trust work to pick up, and there's security policy work that needs someone to own the rollout and enforcement side. On the infrastructure side, we manage cloud resources through infrastructure-as-code, and there's no shortage of manual process waiting to be turned into a workflow. Over time, you'd lead IT projects around endpoint management, security improvements, and internal tooling rather than just executing on them. What you'll need Some form of IT support experience. A help-desk role, an internal support function, or just being the person everyone came to when something broke. The title matters less than the reps. Comfort with macOS. Our user endpoint fleet is mostly Mac. You should be able to troubleshoot system issues, manage profiles, and work in the terminal without hand-holding. Familiarity with Google Workspace administration, or the confidence to pick it up fast. CLI admin tooling experience is a plus. A working understanding of networking fundamentals: DNS, DHCP, LAN/WAN basics, and how traffic moves. You don't need to be a network engineer, but you shouldn't be lost when a connectivity issue comes in. Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles. You should know what endpoint security, encryption, and access controls are, and why they matter, even if you haven't built policies from scratch. Strong written communication. This is a remote role and coordination happens in Slack and Notion. If you can't write clearly, the timezone gap makes everything harder. Self-direction. There's separation between you and the rest of the IT team for part of the day. You need to be someone who sees what needs doing and does it. Curiosity about how systems work. Maybe you've run a homelab, automated something tedious with a script, or set up a Pi. We care more about the impulse than the resume line. Nice to have Experience with MDM platforms (any of the major ones) Any exposure to cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, etc) and infrastructure-as-code concepts Scripting in Python, Bash, or JavaScript Familiarity with zero trust networking concepts and tools Background in compliance frameworks (SOC2, ISO 27001) Exposure to international IT regulations or data privacy requirements (GDPR, etc.) Runway strives to recruit and retain exceptional talent from diverse backgrounds while ensuring pay equity for our team. Our salary ranges are based on competitive market rates for our size, stage and industry, and salary is just one part of the overall compensation package we provide. There are many factors that go into salary determinations, including relevant experience, skill level and qualifications assessed during the interview process, and maintaining internal equity with peers on the team. The range shared below is a general expectation for the function as posted, but we are also open to considering candidates who may be more or less experienced than outlined in the job description. In this case, we will communicate any updates in the expected salary range. Lastly, the provided range is the expected salary for candidates in the U.S. Outside of those regions, there may be a change in the range, which again, will be communicated to candidates. Working at Runway Great things come from great teams. We'd love to hear from you. We're committed to creating a space where our employees can bring their full selves to work and have equal opportunity to succeed. So regardless of race, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, religion, origin, ability, age, veteran status, if joining this mission speaks to you, we encourage you to apply. Senior / Staff Machine Learning Scientist May 14, 2026
Chemify Ltd
Senior / Staff Machine Learning Scientist About Chemify: Chemify is revolutionising chemistry. We are creating a future where the synthesis of previously unimaginable molecules, drugs, and materials is instantly accessible. By combining AI, robotics, and the world's largest continually expanding database of chemical programs, we are accelerating chemical discovery to improve quality of life and extend the reach of humanity. Our Chemifarm facility in Glasgow operates a growing fleet of advanced robotic systems that automate synthesis, optimisation, and library generation. This gives our computational scientists something rare: a direct, high-throughput bridge from in silico design to physically synthesised molecules, closing the design-make-test loop at a pace conventional drug discovery organisations cannot match. Location: Glasgow (onsite, full-time) or fully remote with regular travel to our Glasgow HQ / Chemifarm The Role We are seeking a Senior / Staff Machine Learning Scientist to work across the breadth of Chemify's platform - generative models for chemistry, search and planning for retrosynthesis, computer vision for telemetry from our robotic systems, and agentic workflows that tie it all together. You will partner with computational chemists, CADD scientists, software engineers, and hardware engineers, and apply AI/ML to build the next generation of Chemify's platform. What sets this role apart is the combination of breadth of ML problems - generative chemistry, vision, search, agents - paired with a robotic platform that turns your models into physical experiments. If working across a wide range of hard ML problems on a real-world platform sounds like the right shape of job for you, we'd love to welcome you to our team. Key Responsibilities Build generative and foundation chemistry models for molecular design. Advance retrosynthesis and synthesis aware ML by leveraging Chemify's reaction database and robot execution data. Apply computer vision to transform robot telemetry into models that monitor process state and feedback into experimental control. Prototype agentic workflows that orchestrate models, tools, and the platform - closing loops between proposal, execution, observation, and learning. Productionise models into a reproducible, API first toolkit; partner with Infrastructure on GPU training and HPC; maintain high standards of ML best practices, including rigorous evaluation, benchmarks, and reproducibility. Mentor junior ML scientists, partner with the Head of Advanced Machine Learning on hiring and growth, and represent Chemify's AI/ML capability externally. (Staff level) Set technical direction across the AI/ML stack; lead cross cutting initiatives spanning chemistry models, retrosynthesis, vision, and agents. About You You are an experienced ML scientist who is equally comfortable training models and shipping the code that other people end up building on. You care about whether your model changes a real decision - not just whether it beats a benchmark. You're at home moving across problem types, from generative models to vision to search. We expect you to bring: PhD or equivalent experience in Machine Learning, Computer Science, Statistics, Physics, or a related quantitative field - 5+ years (Senior) or 8+ years (Staff) of hands on applied ML experience, including production grade work. Deep familiarity with modern deep learning stack (PyTorch or JAX), and breadth across at least two of: generative models (diffusion, autoregressive, flow based), graph and equivariant networks, vision (CNNs, ViTs, multimodal LLMs), search and planning (MCTS, A ), or agentic / RL systems. Experience taking ML from prototype to production: reproducible pipelines, distributed jobs, and batch workflows on cloud (AWS / GCP / Azure) or HPC. Strong scientific computing instincts: clean Python, careful experiment design, leakage aware splits, and rigorous benchmarks. Clear communication with non ML scientists and engineers and a willingness to pick up new domains (you don't need to know chemistry on day one). (Staff level) A track record of technical leadership: mentoring, setting standards, and influencing scientific and technical direction beyond your own projects. Beneficial Skills Practical experience with active learning, Bayesian optimisation, conformal prediction, or uncertainty quantification in iterative real world loops. Familiarity with retrosynthesis ML, computer aided synthesis planning (CASP), or reaction condition / yield prediction. Working knowledge of how ML fits into a drug discovery or materials design workflow, plus familiarity with cheminformatics tooling (e.g. RDKit, OpenEye) - or willingness to pick these up. MLOps fluency: experiment tracking, data versioning, model serving, and observability of deployed models. A visible track record in the field - peer reviewed publications, open source contributions, or public projects that demonstrate your judgement on real ML problems. Why Join Chemify? Impact: Your models will directly shape what Chemify's robotic platform proposes, plans, and observes - at a company uniquely positioned to close the loop between design and physical experiment. Autonomy: Reporting to the Head of Advanced Machine Learning, you will work across the AI/ML problems with the most impact, and have meaningful influence over the direction of our AI/ML capability. Ambition: We are a Series B deep tech company investing in world class infrastructure and tackling problems at the frontier of AI, robotics, and chemistry. You will have the resources and the mandate to do AI/ML in a way that isn't possible elsewhere - across chemistry, vision, search, and autonomous systems on the same platform. Black Duck Software, Inc. helps organizations build secure, high-quality software, minimizing risks while maximizing speed and productivity. Black Duck, a recognized pioneer in application security, provides SAST, SCA, and DAST solutions that enable teams to quickly find and fix vulnerabilities and defects in proprietary code, open source components, and application behavior. With a combination of industry-leading tools, services, and expertise, only Black Duck helps organizations maximize security and quality in DevSecOps and throughout the software development life cycle. The Data Science group sits within Black Duck's Data Engineering organisation, operating as a centre of excellence in statistical analysis, machine learning engineering, and applied AI. We work at the intersection of cybersecurity and data intelligence; building models, evaluation frameworks, and AI-powered capabilities that directly shape how tens of thousands of developers and security teams understand and respond to risk. Our work spans predictive analytics, behavioural modelling, LLM integration, and the development of internal AI platforms. We're opinionated about quality, curious by default, and outcome-driven in everything we ship. Our Values Trust: We'd rather be late than wrong. Our work is only as valuable as its credibility. Collaboration: We have deep technical expertise, but we work shoulder-to-shoulder with the subject matter experts who define what "correct" actually means in our domain. Results: We're outcome-driven. Research has value, but it has more value when it's written up, shipped, or handed off. Curiosity: Exploration is core to what we do - including the dead ends. (It's not science unless you write it down.) Fun: We work in a genuinely strange corner of the data world. Revel in it. About the Role As a Senior Data Scientist, you will own the design, development, and production deployment of machine learning and AI systems that drive measurable outcomes across Black Duck's cybersecurity platforms. This is primarily a technical individual contributor role - we're looking for someone who can take a problem from framing through to a shipped, evaluated, production system, and who brings genuine depth in ML/AI engineering rather than general data work. Data infrastructure and pipeline ownership sits with our dedicated Data Engineering function. Your focus is on what we do with that data: building models, evaluating them rigorously, integrating AI capabilities into products and internal tooling, and helping shape how the team approaches applied AI at scale. The role is primarily based at our Belfast R&D site. UK/EMEA remote or hybrid applicants will be considered, with at least quarterly travel to Belfast expected. Additional conference and collaboration opportunities are available commensurate with your impact. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain machine learning and AI systems, from prototype through to production, with clear evaluation criteria and operational handover Lead the integration of LLM and agentic AI capabilities into Black Duck products and internal platforms (including prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation, and tool/agent orchestration) Design and own LLM evaluation frameworks: defining task specific metrics, building offline and online eval pipelines, running structured comparisons across models and configurations, and producing clear recommendations with supporting evidence Conduct cost benefit analysis on AI/ML system decisions: model / architecture / methodology selection, operational costs, build vs buy trade offs, and quantifying the value of AI/ML interventions against baseline approaches; communicating findings clearly to technical and non technical stakeholders Collaborate with R&D and Product Engineering to embed AI capabilities into existing workflows and surfaces Contribute to the team's shared practices around model governance, reproducibility, and responsible AI use Mentor team members, peers and the wider organisation on evolving and emerging ML/AI engineering practices and help continuously maintain the organisation's technical standards Key Qualifications 5+ years of hands on experience in data science, machine learning engineering, or applied AI - with demonstrable delivery of production ML/AI systems, not just research or analysis Strong Software engineering proficiency; you can design and deliver a project or module from scratch that others can build on Experience deploying ML/AI models in production on cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and/or Kubernetes workloads Practical experience with ML/AI development stacks: PyTorch, scikit learn, HuggingFace or equivalent; experiment tracking (MLflow, W&B or similar); and model evaluation tooling Experience designing and executing LLM evaluations: building eval datasets, defining metrics, running model comparisons, and translating results into actionable decisions Experience conducting cost benefit or trade off analysis on AI systems; weighing inference cost, latency, accuracy, and operational complexity against business or product value Familiarity with agentic AI patterns: tool use, multi step reasoning, agent orchestration (LangChain, LangGraph, or equivalent) Experience working with LLMs via API integration, prompt engineering, and RAG pipelines Experience with Jupyter and standard scientific Python (pandas, numpy, scipy) Ability to operate independently on multi month projects, manage your own priorities, and communicate clearly across engineering and non engineering stakeholders Hands on experience with AI assisted development tools (GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor, or similar) Nice to Have Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field (or demonstrated equivalent through portfolio and track record) Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts, application security testing, or software supply chain risk Experience with data/feature stores, model registries, or MLOps tooling (Airflow, DBT, Databricks, or equivalent) Familiarity with Data Mesh or Data Product concepts Experience with enterprise data visualisation (Power BI, Grafana, Snowflake, Databricks dashboards) Comfort in Linux/CLI environments and experience contributing to shared codebases (Git, code review, CI/CD) Track record of written or public communication: internal documentation, papers, blog posts, or conference contributions Black Duck is an equal opportunity employer. We consider all applicants for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, religion, sex, gender identity or expression, age, disability, sexual orientation, veteran or military service status, or any other characteristic protected by applicable law.
